@Jason Carr gave the 6.9 release a good hammering over a few hours working extremely well no glitches to report Windows 7 SP1 cant comment on voice recognition as have no mic. Fastest iteration yet. KUDOS

@djwar you can add as many rom paths as you want in mame its handy when you seperate out all the different platforms, first you show mame the new path then set it up in LaunchBox.

That's because Mame doesn't know where the new rom files are you need to open up Mame outside LaunchBox and add new directory for the NeoGeo rom folder. And then save.

Yes but needs to be typed the same as your platform uppercase and lowercase

Yes if that is your Platform name. Have you also pointed mame to your new folder so it can find the roms/bios.

Yes but it makes extracting roms so much easier a person only has to change rom names zip and the output folder name and bob's your uncle, they can even do it by having a text list of the roms and bios say for cave etc change them in the bat and change name of bat to the desired platform very good.

Yeahh works brill @lordmonkus and not as steep a learning curve as other programs like romlister etc well done.

While that will show your NeoGeo games it will also show Neogeo Pocket some arcade games and also all games made by SNK

Am sorry to hear that when he gets everything up and running again he should look at backing LaunchBox emulators etc and if the problem occurs again through future Windows updates he can just overwrite everything from his backup, he should look at Retroarch maybe for Nintendo64 as that's what ill be doing soon.

Yes i've been meaning to go the Retroarch way as its safer, better so i keep reading and less prone to breaking.

Yes Demul its portable i usally just paste newer versions and overwrite the older version, PJ64 i havn't updated in a long time over the spyware and have been meaning to use retroarch instead but just have been too lazy to do it.

Yes this forum and the people on it are BRILL and helpful, worst about laptops are a fall or an update especially if the laptop is about 2 years old windows10 updates can screw it royally i know used to have an hour and a half battery life on a laptop i own and after upgrading it to win10 i only get 15 mins battery life now with everything like cortana etc disabled
