2D and 3D Cart images for Poly Game Master PGM -
@necron99 are the videos for platforms named the same as your platforms and secondly are the game videos named the same as either your roms or game titles, and thirdly have you set LaunchBox under tools, platforms to the default folder where your videos are stored, see below screenshot.

@Jason Carr just gave the latest beta a spin in all views with both WMP and VLC on all default views seems to be working fine no problems except the alignment issue i reported earlier

@Eirulan Not at the moment but i did a quick google search 3d Box-art templates and there are loads of them around.

@Eirulan I have checked also and cannot find any 3d box-art for Dos games i think your best bet it to download a 3d box template in png format and super impose the front art and spline onto that template. Or if you haven't a lot of games maybe someone on the forums here will create the boxes for you.

@DR9 its not a case of disliking it, it is a case of adding another layer to LaunchBox that should be left up to the individual as to whether they need it or not, and if it was integrated into LaunchBox that would be taking that option away from the individual users of LaunchBox.

@GreekMagic i think the best three people to seek advice on this on the the forums are @DOS76 @Zombeaver and @lordmonkus those members having extensive knowledge of setting up everything from small to bigger computers to get the best bang for your buck.

Maybe this could be the issue why some people are only seeing the black background and hearing the video playing because the video while using VLC pr WMP is not aligned?

@Jason Carr it also effects the Default theme but seems to be an alignment issue see below screenshots first one is Windows Media Player the second one is VLC Media Player and only happens with the Non Background Videos. Which means when you use other themes you have to either use one player or the other in order for the videos to line up in the theme window.

While i have nothing against Rocket Launcher and agree it has some usefulness and i use it in a limited capacity, however this should not be needed to be integrated with LaunchBox and should be left to the individual whether or not they want to install it as with any other emulator out there.

I agree as well i don't think Rocket Launcher should be bundled with LaunchBox as it stands LaunchBox handles the integration of emulators very well on its own, while a pause screen would be a nice addition to have we shouldn't need a full fledged extra program to achieve this in the long run.

@DOS76 I wanted to have cart art for as many systems as i could and as there was not a lot online for arcade systems in png with transparent backgrounds i decided to create them from original system and motherboards and have then unique for LaunchBox/BigBox.

Yes you can do this for images, videos, manuals etc once you change the destination of the folders you must go in LaunchBox then on the menu bar tools manage platforms, 2nd tab folders and show LaunchBox where the new folders are situated see screenshot. I have all my images videos etc on another drive.
