  1. SentaiBrad said When making image searches you can add on the words "png" or "transparent" to your searches.. Thanks for that tip! I never thought of that...
  2. SentaiBrad said PNG's are more worthwhile if you have transparent layers, you were working in Photoshop and just output a new image or you're working from high resolution RAW or otherwise camera shots or box scans and you wanted to put them through Photoshop then have an image for the web. Ah..., well..., if I submitted a JPG, could you tricky dudes convert it to what you needed, since I'm not fully comprehending what you're talking about (and I don't have Photoshop, anyway).
  3. I was only kidding about the productivity increase, but you guys rock! You get a 'new toy' of extreme proportions, and where I'd be a blithering idiot running benchmarks and trying to over-heat it, you're making new videos for the Forum??? I dunno what to say, other than, "U B da Man".
  4. I suspect ya gotta be lovin' your upgrade (15-20 second Boot Time and crazy program load times!). Money well spent, I'd venture to say... You realize of course, that since your computing power has increased 10-fold, so must your productivity.
  5. I dunno know, but it looks kinda cool. I can visualize it as some sort of device on the original Star Trek series. It that a Floppy Drive slot, bottom-center of Console? P.S. Since you're from the UK, I'm gonna make an uneducated guess that it's an European-only (maybe Japanese) version.
  6. This is one cool algorithm... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Khuj4ASldmU
  7. lordmonkus said upgraded to 8350 @ 4 GHz I'm runnin' that same CPU. I felt it was a good value, as well, and as you pointed out, no Mobo replacement necessary.
  8. SentaiBrad said I run this thing like a mule and it's been 7 years. A 7-year jump in computing technology? Well, applying Moore's Law, your old Rig will be afraid of the new one. I suggest strappin' yourself in a bit for the 'first boot', so when you faint, you won't fall out of the chair. P.S. That PCPartPicker Webite is nice, isn't it? Oh, ah, will you build me one, too?
  9. Jason Carr said I smell a spammer. Put the Spammer Smack-Down on 'em, Jason! I found this program way back that would Spam someone (just one person at a time, as it was made to exact revenge on a real Spammer) using parameters you set-up (message, frequency, etc.). P.S. You needed an e-mail address, though.
  10. ps4isthefuture said I still can't believe I was able to talk my mother into buying this game for me upon release. It was $70 in 1994. At 2016 dollars, that's over $113, according to savings.org. Yikes!
  11. Many of the graphics I find are JPGs. If I converted them to PNG (before submitting) , would I want to save them as 'Interlaced', or not?
  12. fromlostdays said Errr... Nevermind. Solution file? I can follow instructions but I'm leery of installing stuff I don't understand. I'm assuming you never did this (case in point - "Nevermind" ), and I hear ya with the not understanding it, etc. One of my many useless mottoes is, "When in doubt, don't!"
  13. A Terabyte Internet Experience Related article: The Zettabyte Era - Trends and Analysis (from Cisco). Groups of charts and graphs about Internet traffic, etc. Just for fun (an Exabyte is 1 million Terabytes and a Zettabyte is 1000 Exabytes ):
  14. Whoa, that's a tricky one. I'd guess it was actually a calculator, but there's no display.
  15. SentaiBrad said I'll make a ticket for it. Thanks.
  16. It's in the picture (Search Results for...), but I searched for "intelliv".
  17. DOS76 said Magnavox Odyssey. Hahaha! I'm totally not surprised you knew it, Derek. Did you know it 'off the top of your head', or was there research involved?
  18. I was lazy in typing. The search returned 22 results, but it doesn't list them.
  19. I blotted-out the name in the photo, of course.
  20. SentaiBrad said I'll need to buy you a beer for that flattery. Or is it the other way around? xD Watch-out! I may be headin' up to Portland in August to visit my Bro, and I could stop by to collect (or you could collect).
  21. SentaiBrad said Are you talking about on the Database? Yes, I was, but then I saw you had answered my question in another Topic. But, hey, could I just pass-off a photo or two, w/potential blurb, for approval? Scrounging for good pictures can be tedious, and that's grunt-work I'm well suited for. Your skill-set dictates more important/valuable endeavours, I think.
  22. SentaiBrad said Consoles are currently not editable. I am unsure if they'll ever be open, but we still have some tweaks to make to them before we decide either way. Oops, I just posted a question (in a different Topic) that this clearly answers. Sorry.
  23. I wanna picture of an Intellivision (and Intellivision II). Also, I'd wanna contribute the 'Console blurb', too. For the Intellivision, I'd say how it was the first 16-bit Game Console (I'm fairly sure ), etc.
