In the blue corner, we have Mag-Lite (LED w/3 D-Cells), weighing in at 625 Lumens, and in the black corner, we have Olight, weighing in at 950 Lumens (in 'Turbo' mode). Yes, the little guy is over 50% brighter than the big guy! However, the Mag-Lite is much better suited for clubbing people.

SentaiBrad said I can provide you with a production image. Is this (Post #54) the production image? If not, I'll take one at you're convenience. If I'm gonna tout it, I want to have it as accurate as possible! Thanks!

Jason Carr said Feel free to have an embroidered version made. :) Do you have an 'official template' for the logo? Precise colors (0000ff and so forth), size/proportions, fonts, etc. If not, what's the best JPG to download for me to take to the embroiderer?
-
Maybe it's my monitor, but to me it looks as if the squares that should be light-green, are yellow on your design. Crap, maybe they're supposed to be yellow, but on my screen they appear more green! I like the first one, but more in keeping with the original design, I'd vote for #2, but I'd prefer the cube to be a bit smaller, and to have LaunchBox written slightly above the line to the left of the cube.

You're quite welcome, and thanks for the premission! I have a little bit of 'expendable income', so if I can help support LaunchBox AND get a nice T-Shirt for myself, I'm on-board with that! P.S. I hope sales pick-up!

Well, I still wish I had a bit more super-technical braininess (real word ), as you, Jason, and other brainiacs in this Forum do.
-
Point taken. BTW, your videos are quite professional looking. It'd take me weeks to make one that would look as if a pre-schooler did it.

I finally ordered a T-Shirt. Yay! I'd like to use the logo to have an embroidered version made locally. Do I need legal permission to use the logo, and if so, may I get it?

SentaiBrad said What's unfair about it? Maybe 'unfair' wasn't the best choice of word, but if you had more subscribers, say, that would be more fair to me, especially if you came up with that type of format before Metal Jesus (or is it, 'HeySoose'?).

Free Issue of Drone360 Hurry, though, as I received this offer 2-3 weeks ago, so it may not last much longer.

SentaiBrad said Oh no, im cool. "Depressed". No need to boycott him, I'm just being a dork. I'm just kinda playin' around with that 'depressed' thing, but barring any unforeseen and unlikely circumstances, I will remain loyal to LaunchBox! Plus, there is actually an element of unfairness in the whole thing, I think, so I disagree with your self-proclaimed dorkness.

Well, it's not directly related to PC's and/or Gaming, but it has computers in it and certainly looks fun! 15mph (even uphill), runs for an hour fully-charged, recharges in 20 minutes, off-road ready, and more! $1500. OneWheel as seen on CNN Money (Video). Company Website If I were already somewhat skate/snowboard skilled, I'd definitely be saving-up for one of these! Why do so many young people wear Winter Stocking Caps when it's quite warm out?

DOS76 said When I want to see naked ladies on the internet (which is all to frequent) there are way better places to do so. A greater truism spoken never has there been. (A lame attempt to sound like Yoda ).

SentaiBrad said Now I'm depressed... I just watched it. I also did a story on Warren too...... sob. Pull yourself together, Brad. It's okay. FWIW, I'm subscribed to your channel, but I'm gonna boycott Metal Jesus!

SentaiBrad said I will say this, we don't have a Kinsey (I spelt her name wrong) Ah..., I could loan you a shirt with constellations on it (they're on the back, though ), if that would help, for when you appear in a video.

Microsoft HoloLens Development Edition (w/Fragments game)
CadetStimpy replied to CadetStimpy's topic in Games
lordmonkus said Either way, 3 grand is a no starter for the vast majority of consumers out there. Hell, even when the Oculus Rift announced at $600 a lot of people (including myself) who were ready to plop down $450 took a big step back and said "nope, not paying that much" for it, and I have the PC ready to run it. I hear ya on that one, Monkus. You can buy a lot of other fun things for 3 Grand! That's an entire high-end PC build for me! P.S. What does "Lord Monkus" refer to, if you don't mind me asking. -
I found it amusing, too, actually. I used to carry a lunch box to school as a kid, but I don't remember having any animated franchise character on it (Mario or Sonic, etc.), though. That practice may have been before my time (or the more likely scenario is I can't remember that far back). I think I had one of those plain black ones (flat on the bottom, round on the top where the Thermos hung-out) that construction workers used. When I was in early grade school, I seem to remember the school lunch was provided, but you had to pay for the little milk carton (half-pint), if you wanted milk. It was 3 cents - a lot of cash for a first-grader in the 50's.

Microsoft HoloLens Development Edition (w/Fragments game)

What the ...? What happened to the picture in Post #1 of this Thread? It looks as if it's there, but when I click on it, it can't be found. It was there yesterday. -
Microsoft HoloLens Development Edition (w/Fragments game)
CadetStimpy replied to CadetStimpy's topic in Games
lordmonkus said All I am saying is that the price point needs to come down a lot still and they need to show off better game concepts than crappy point and click mystery games with cosmetic upgrades. One factor may be that the average home Gamer might not have the horsepower to deal with high-resolution graphics in addition to all the other hardware intensive requirements this system would impose, so they 'tone it down' for the more typical User - I dunno... If everyone had stuff like this, things would be different : However, as you essentially mentioned, lots of hardware dollars won't be an adequate substitute for a "lame game". -
Isn't that one letter away from some sort of Trademark infringement?

DOS76 said It's expensive but it'd looks like it could have tons of potential in the future. I agree - potential aplenty! -
Microsoft HoloLens Development Edition (w/Fragments game)
CadetStimpy replied to CadetStimpy's topic in Games
lordmonkus said I may be a jaded old man but I see this going no where considering the price point and that game looks like nothing more than a terrible point and click adventure game like those cheesy Sherlock Holmes games for the TurboGrafx 16 CD. Even if they had a more interesting looking game the $3000 price tag is just way too much to be of any interest to 99% of the people out there. Bear-in-mind, that $3K is for the Development Kit, not the game. I wouldn't have the slightest clue how to 'develop' a game (that's Brad stuff), so this item would be of no interest to me, either, and I'd be very hard-pressed to pay that much for any game. But the fact this stuff is becoming more accessible to consumers (not just engineers in labs), is cool for Gamers, because I believe there's a lot of un-tapped talent out there, and hardware/software such as this will help that talent to emerge. -

Well, this isn't really a game, obviously, but it could help you create a game. Microsoft HoloLens Development Edition ($3K) (This link reflects a Blog post by Kudo Tsunoda, Microsoft’s corporate VP responsible for the HoloLens). But this is a game! Check-out Microsoft HoloLens | Fragments This is an exciting time for Gamers! Let the games begin! -
