  1. Personally I would put them under Windows. We can't support the LB No Intro pack you have downloaded elsewhere. Yes but keep in mind of course you will need to have Origin loaded and running for the shortcut to work.
  2. If the game is not launching through Mame on it's own then you have a rom problem and Mame is telling you that in the error message. Your files are either missing this rom completely or whatever one you have is incorrect for the version of Mame you are using and you will need to source a new rom dump which contains the correct version.
  3. My setup is all now a hand picked smaller collection, no full sets at all, 2442 games total in my current setup. I have full sets backed up of course so if I find out about a game I don't have imported I can easily grab it.

    eXoDOS v4

    Absolute madman.
  5. Right on C:\ should be fine. I like to put it on a different driver personally.
  6. Mesen is a fantastic emulator, the RA core should work easily for you though if you require the extra features of RA.
  7. The first issue I see in your screenshots is in your Edit Emulator window for Mame, you have none of the boxes checked when it needs 2 of them checked. Not sure why there isn't one but it's easy to add one, just go the bottom of the bottom of the list and click in an empty line, type in Arcade in the first column and then select the core you want to use in the 2nd using the dropdown menu.
  8. I have seen some rare occasions where people have reported that the core is not appearing in the dropdown list in LB though I have never experienced this myself, LB should detect it if it is in your Retroarch\Cores folder. Here is the NstDatabase.xml file, just drop it in your Retroarch\System folder. NstDatabase.xml
  9. If you have the core downloaded in Retroarch it should be in the dropdown menu in your associated platforms.
  10. Yeah the check boxes for the console stuff is different than the arcade stuff. And good to hear that the cue + bin files work as well, I was pretty certain they did.
  11. If one game is working and others are not then you either have a bad romset or like I said you are missing the database file, try 1 of the other 2 cores I suggested.
  12. What core are you using for the NES ? If you are using the Nestopia core you should have the NstDatabase.xml file placed in your Retroarch\System folder, this file helps out with compatibility. Try the Mesen or Fceumm cores and see if you have better luck with those, Mesen is the best core but does require a slightly more powerful CPU to run it.
  13. Ok, I notice you have both Arcade and the CD-i in your associated platforms, are you using that Mame emulator entry for your arcade stuff as well ? If so set up a different entry because they have different check box requirements in Launchbox. This is my Arcade Mame entry in LB: And this one below is my Console Mame entry in LB: Notice I have none of the boxes checked for the Console entry.
  14. In your command line parameter is there a space between the hyphen and cdrm ? It looks like there is in the screen shot, if there is one remove the space. Also is your platform in LB called Philips CD-i ?
  15. Weird, mine have worked though after double checking my NeoGeo CD and FM Towns Marty stuff I have since converted my NeoGeo CD to CHD but I know they worked before converting them and my FM Towns stuff is in cue + img format
  16. Is that something that got changed only for CD-i ? Back when I did mess around with CD-i and Mame my cue + bin image worked but I have long since gotten rid of anything CD-i related and the few CD based things I do use for Mame now (NeoGeo CD and FM Towns Marty) work with cue + bin.
  17. Instructions are still the same, just replace MESS with Mame.
  18. It can but you have to turn it on in Options > General. Keep in mind it will only delete the imported file so for games that have multiple files like CD based games (cue + bin) it won't delete both files.
  19. If I remember correctly you need to set up your controls in Cemu as the Wii U tablet and then select the tablet in game to enter your name and get your save going, from there you can use the Pro controller. I could be completely wrong though.
  20. Like I said, the latest update made some big changes to the theming and some themes require updates, especially when additional plugins from the theme author are involved.
  21. You can roll back your LB install by running the previous update that should be in your |Launchbox\Updates folder. You can turn off updates in the options.
  22. Try updating the theme, the latest update made some changes to theming so it may have broken the old version.
  23. Another option if you have a lot of games you want to change is to create a 2nd Retroarch entry in Launchbox and have the associated platform pointing to the core you want. This way you can select all the games you want to change by holding control and clicking the games, then you can bulk edit them and change the emulator.
  24. You can tell individual games what core to use with the custom command line parameter when you edit the game. -L "cores\core_name.dll"
