  2. I use Virtual Clone Drive but which is free but I don't think it supports command line mounting of disc images.
  3. If the virtual cd drive supports command line mounting of images you can simply make a batch file and use that as an additional app. Might be another way to do it but that is the first off the of my head.
  4. If you have feature requests please use the bitbucket page to post them individually. Link can be found at the top of the forum under Help & Support, posting feature requests here on the forum is pointless, it will get lost.
  5. LOL I wish I could take credit for it. I only guessed at that and shaders because I have seen that issue before which is not what the issue was.
  6. Good you got it sorted, such an oddball solution.
  7. What shader type do you have setup in RA ? Is it a vulkan supported shader or is it a GL shader ? If it's a GL shader then that is likely the cause of the issue since you appear to be using the Vulkan display driver. When loading RA via command line you need to have a shader selected that is compatible with the video driver being used. This isn't an issue when just loading up RA and loading a game.
  8. These are illegal to share, they are copyright protected.
  9. Those aren't actual rom versions though, based on the naming they look like translation hacks and every version of the hack. Definitely a waste of drive space for the vast majority of people. No-Intro and ReDump sets are all most people will ever need combined with the occasional translation or enhancement hacks.
  10. Correct. As for the hardware you need to run the emulators, that depends on what you want to emulate. The more modern emulators like for PS3, Wii U and Switch you will need quite good hardware. My general advice would be this, get the best CPU you can with as much hard drive space as you can get. Multicore CPUs generally don't have much benefit in emulation, it's all about the single core clock speed and instructions per clock cycle but they don't make single core CPUs anymore. You don't need a super fancy GPU but you will want a reasonably decent dedicated GPU, a 60 series Nvidia card would be fine without being too much money, a 70, 80 or 90 series card would be overkill. The GPU will help with Launchbox performance and will help if you decide you want to use shaders or uprezzing your games.
  11. When you imported your games to LB did you tell LB to move or copy the files or did you tell it to leave them where you had them ?
  12. If some stuff is loading but not others then it's likely that your rom set is not matched to the version of Mame the core is built off of.
  13. Because it's a temporary folder it uses to extract roms to to load them and then deletes the contents of that folder when you are done playing the game. It is normal and required when you have your roms compressed in zip or 7z format since most emulators cannot read those file formats.
  14. We don't allow the discussion of "downloading of Launchbox builds" here. They are not advised to use and we will not provide user support for them when they do not work.
  15. No, these devices are illegal because they include thousands of pirated games. Please do not post veiled ads for this type of crap scam hardware on here.

  17. The simplest way is to either drag and drop the exe for the game into LB to import it one game at a time. Or you can make a folder and put shortcuts for your games in that folder, then select all the shortcuts and drag them into LB to import them.
  18. Not really, though you can either map a key to "fast forward" and use that to make the timer go faster or you can set a save state after the timer and load that after loading the game.
  19. Yup, just import the exe to the platform you want.
  20. Import the exe for the injection launcher you use to load the game.
  21. We do not and never will support hard drives being sold online by thieves and con men. These drives and "downloadable builds" on the internet are illegal and potentially loaded with malware.
