    I got it for PC... it was pretty cool, but it does get repetitive very quickly. It would seem like all the random generation stuff would keep it interesting, but most of the game ends up being pretty similar. Overall, I would say it's definitely worth a play.
  2. Is Lightspeed completely broken now that Launchbox is using separate .xml files or are you guys still able to get it working?

  5. Hi Jason... as I've been reading over recent changelogs, it feels like development has been mostly aimed at Big Box recently. I was wondering if you could talk about any upcoming big changes for LaunchBox... plans, goals, whatever you like. I was just curious, as a mostly LB desktop user what direction it was headed, etc... Thanks for considering.

  9. It will load apps that are external to the emulator. I am not familiar with your problem but it sounds like this is a process that is internal to epsxe. If an external solution (like something somebody made to fix some problem in epsxe) exists then you can use "additional apps" in LB to automate loading it before the emulator. The problem we were talking about is that you have to set this up manually, game by game, as things are right now.
  10. The problem lies in adding or removing, etc. the additional app from 100 games at a time... or not being able to do it.

  12. Wow... I just tested it and it does work. I've wanted to play that one for a long time. It's looking like Saturn emulation has hit the big time with this emulator.
  13. Is Dragon Force 2 working? I could never get that one to work in SSF.
  14. I feel like this may have been discussed before but I can't remember. Was a method ever added to make bulk changes, add or remove "additional apps" in the editor? If not, this is really a needed feature. To make these changes to each game in a platform individually is not practical.
  15. I had a chance to sit down this morning, watch your video tutorial and get my Mednafen setup straightened out. It turns out my problems were from re-naming the bios files from another emulator setup. I used your bios files and I was good to go. Thanks for starting this thread, I appreciate it.
  16. Yeah, Jason... they change universally each time I change the setting. I guess I should ask... should I be using the drop-down "image type" box in the upper right corner of LB?

  18. Wow... I can't seem to find a single game that will load. Is compatibility the same in the standalone, or should I give up?

  20. Oh... well, if I change the image type to clear logo in one platform, it changes it in all the platforms. Is there an option or setting I have to change?
  21. Ah, ok... yeah, I only use LaunchBox... BigBox just never worked out for me. Any features that you can match in LaunchBox are appreciated.
  22. Thanks lordmonkus... that fixed the crashes and I have a bios now... but I'm getting the empty CD player screen. Do I need to load the image in Daemon tools?
  23. Thanks, Jason... I just tried to update some and it looks like the sets are still incomplete.
  24. Well, I tried the new Retroarch core and it's crashing... I'm assuming I have the wrong bios setup. If I go to "core information" to get the bios info there is none. Does anyone know what the naming format is and if it's the same bios that's used for Yabause or SSF? *edit* Checked the Retroarch forums... looks like there is zero discussion on this core yet.
  25. So, as cool as I think this feature is... it doesn't seem to be working. If I change the image type in one platform, it still changes them all. Any extra steps I need to take to get this working? Thanks.
