  1. You might try the RocketLauncher forums since people there use a few different front-ends sometimes.
  2. Thanks... I had never heard of OBS but it seems pretty handy. Here is the video of the crash. Usually, it happens on the first pass of scrolling, but of course for the video I had to do a couple.
  3. Jason Carr said @Drybonz, what video playback engine are you using in LaunchBox, just in case that is the problem? I haven't yet been able to replicate this either. I can replicate it every time. I tried to take a video of it today, but Fraps will only capture the video of the video in game details instead of the whole desktop to show the crash. I think Fraps thinks the embedded video is a fullscreen video. Not sure if that is a problem with the way it is displayed in LB or a problem/limitation with Fraps. However, I did go into options after that and turn off the video display in the game details bar and I am then able to scroll all the way down with the scrollbar without LB crashing.
  4. Jason, I know we are mostly focused on Big Box, but could you add the "arrange by" button to List View? Alternatively, make the columns in list view editable (and sticky) with all the "arrange by" options as options for columns? List View is kind of crippled as far as sorting.
  5. Awesome... now you are going to have to get the word out to all these other frontend users to let them know about it. I think it will be pretty big.
  6. BlackSol said Like the coverflow view a bit more with one minor niggle. I prefer to use logos instead of box art and it seems the reflection is a bit too prominent. Would it be possible to make it a bit more transparent or make it user adjustable? I agree that would be a good setting. A lot of programs that use the "cover flow" style have a reflection transparency setting so you can make it less intrusive. I would also like to see some of that space above the images occupied by some of the useful game info.
  7. Looking great... I think the info card is more useful than the second picture anyway, so that will be nice. Also, the filter by decade is a great idea.
  8. That one is a classic. I tried to play some of the new PC remakes and they just aren't as good as the originals.
  9. Hardeep Singh said adventure island also That was a fun game... and pretty difficult too.
  10. Good idea for a tutorial... I think it will really help people.
  11. CriticalCid said Awesome to have such a feature but I don’t necessarily want all the lists/genres as different platforms or in a separate platform at all. Would it be possible to add an option that these games in the list just simply get the favorites tag? Can you import the list, select all and mark as favorites, then delete the platform?
  12. It's a pretty minor issue, IMO, so I never mentioned it. I could get by fine if it doesn't get changed. :)
  13. Sorry I didn't see that earlier... mine is also set to 125% text and has the same text misalignment. Getting too old for that 100% text. ;P
  14. Jason Carr said Drybonz said I'm getting a crash when I grab and drag the scrollbar to scroll in the game details sidebar. It does not crash if I mouse wheel scroll through it... only using the scrollbar. Error message is just the generic "has stopped working". @Drybonz, what video playback engine are you using in LaunchBox, just in case that is the problem? I haven't yet been able to replicate this either. VLC
  15. He has these txt/bat files that copy the roms... would that be useful? Attaching an example.
  16. Might be kind of fun to add the "all killer, no filler" filter. lol https://www.launchbox-app.com/forum/emulation/all-killer-no-filler-arcade-games
  17. Looking great... I like the tabs at the top. Screenshots are a really nice touch.
  18. Jason Carr said Check your key mappings @Drybonz? That one was my fault... sorry.
  19. Esc key for "back" doesn't seem to be working any more in Big Box. New views are cool but don't seem very practical for paging through large numbers of titles.
  20. Wow! That other program is sounding pretty sweet... lol. I guess using that would be way better than my idea of importing the sets of missing art... way easier, and you wouldn't need to worry about sorting in LB, you could just manage it in the other program. I like the way it shows each piece of available art too.
  21. Ah... that did it, thanks. I had the table checked but I had to check LB as well. Working fine now.
  22. This might sound weird but would a filter for missing art be useful so that you can quickly find games that you need to add art? Not sure if that would even be possible. Actually, that might work better as a category for sorting within the frontend.
  23. One of my pinball tables gets the error message "the requested operation requires elevation" when I open it in LB. If I just open it with VP it works fine. This is the first time I have seen this error. How do I get around this?
  24. Nice... so there are two screens of filters now? This is awesome. I thought Vs. Nintendo and Deco Cassette might be good filters too... what do you think?
  25. Try opening Launchbox on a secondary monitor. Try the scrollbar then... also try opening the options menu. Let me know if they crash LB. *edit* Ah... never mind. I just tried the options menu on the primary monitor and it crashes too. So much for that theory.
