It is if you want emulator sharp pixels from the original hardware on modern screens. Its very pricy to set up. You need the scaler and a means of getting RGB out of your consoles. Some like the SNES and Genesis can output RGB out of the box with Scart cables. Of course when you have lots of scart cables you then need a scart switch. Best place to start with all of this is retrorgb.com

All for bug fixes over content for a while. We have so many awesome new features to play with anyways.

Agreed, I used it quite a bit this weekend. From 9k games down to 3k playable great games.

@Jason Carr Yes just Demul but someone people have mentioned PCSX2 as well iirc. What is happening is that music would play during launch of Demul and play during gameplay as well, then when you exited Demul BB would crash to desktop and you would have to kill the process in the task manager. With the modified nomousy script I posted Demul now enters and exit correctly and no longer plays music over game play but when exiting back to BB music and video play back does not function unless you exit into and back out of the options. I hope that makes sense, little tipsy atm.

Not shown are my Sony Wega and Song PVM monitor. Not set up yet. I have flash carts for all the cart systems except for the AES but rumor one is coming soon!!! PS1 can play backups along with the DC and the PS2 is modded to play off the internal hard drive. Next to the DC is my emulation box that runs LB/BB. All of my art work comes from the Arcade Expo that comes through my town once a year and is set to return in March (cant wait!). The power gloves no longer worked so I framed it. All 3 controllers still work and have their internals stored safely. The room still badly needs to be painted and I will be doing a two TV set for a marquee one day. This is my first home so I badly wanted a room just for old gaming. My living room has all the next gen stuff that I honestly never even touch. I got a pretty awesome set going on my LB/BB emulation box with all my saves being backed up to google drive through syslinks along with all my configs and bios. The machine is then mirrored in my living room and also at my work gaming pc. I dont have anything behind the couch. I plan on having a guy come in and do a Akira mural (yes I love anime/manga and Akira is the best of them). Pictures!

Enjoying Elder Scrolls Online atm. Currently at 362 CP trying to cap. In some pretty fun guilds and pvp is okay.

Recently I have been getting very strange things going on. For example when managing platforms and after making changes, sometimes on the details panel the video path will be filled in with the path of the current theme I am using. I use different video sets for different themes. Its an easy fix but it seems to happen after making changes to the folder directory. BigBox is also starting up with out any background video playing on the criticalzone and cityhunter. Simply going into options and backing out fixes that issue.

You out did yourself friend. These are amazing. Your color contrast choices are really good. I love the purple. I will be updating your wheels on my system later today. The only wheels missing now are the GBC and Neo Pocket. I spent all weekend editing 9k+ games down to 3388. I feel like that is a good number and I still want to trim down some of my niche psp games. Now I can start working on more theme stuff again. Great work!

I just trimmed down from 9k+ to around 3k+ today. Screw having all that bloat and games I would never play. I would rather be able to open a platform and pick from any game there and play it. Also attract mode looks way more sexy when good games are on display and not barbie or mary kate and ashley.

I was lucky to have both, I wasn't spoiled but my neighbor gave me his sega genesis when he got a SNES and I already had one. Contra 3 I think is the better game. Looks and sounds are amazing but as I got older Hard Corps is my favorite because it is a difficult game and is much faster game play.

I was able to fix the issue with Demul crashing BB to desktop and still use nomousy. The issue I have now is when ever I enter or exit Demul, game play video and background music stop functioning.

Contra Hard Corps is my personal favorite in the Contra series.

I edited the script for nomousy and everything is closing correctly again but I am now loosing background music on exit. I have to exit out into options and then back into platforms in order to get music playback. Run, C:\LaunchBox\Nomousy\nomousy.exe /hide $Esc:: { Run, C:\LaunchBox\Nomousy\nomousy.exe }

Switching to WMP does kill the music in the background and video but upon returning back to bigbox with the escape key all music functions stop.

Have you tested with controller automation and not with just escape?
