i find it sad that I get US boxes and other media for some of my japanese games.. I understand that "it's all the same system" but it's annoying that you can't specify what region the scrape should be looking for. when I scrape akumajou Dracula XX I don't want Castlevania X to be returned to my system.. but I suppose that's a different discussion.

I noticed that windows games are added based on a shortcut file. the shortcut is then used to launch the game.
Wouldn't it be better if the lnk file is read and the game is added based to it's install path? -

The MSX, wonderswan, etc are part of the main platforms. If you go to my theme folder and have a look at platform playlists and category they have different systems than the ones posted here such as Midway classics, Namco classics, etc
I believe most of the platform systems are covered right? What are the missing system platforms in your to do list klop?
Console wise I think we're missing Amstrad GX4000. or are you missing more? console wise I mean.. not playlistst, not handhelds, or computers... if you have suggestions on what we're in need of then thats appreciated,.. and I havent forgotten about the streaming services.
how is this for a platform category banner ? if youré akoy with it I will do the others in the same style.. if you don't want to shine through I could do it a solid color or photograph. -

Offtop: Wasn't there a background flouting around the forum that we can use to make these kind of videos?
For the nostalgia type videos viking made.. I pm'd him but he never got back to me.
I'm planning on giving these videos a shot.. case in point the American laser games video bothers me.. It features stick and buttons and not guns

I like options 3 ! The work will continue with the banners... still have some handhelds and most of the computers to do... how about banners for the platform selection view?

Which of the two fixes do you like the most? i'd go for the first option for aesthetic reasons but I know there are many people who hates forced scaling on images/videos. Having custom Artwork for the platform images would be sweet but it's up to Klop if he's down for it *Tsk* *Tsk*
@Klopjero my friend can I request you to create 3 platform banners so that I can bundle them into the theme?

I believe those three are the remaining missing platform banners from my personal collection, if you have any systems that are missing platform banners in your personal collection I suggest you prioritize them first so that I can bundle them into the theme for release
how custom is custom ?
