  1. I've got the same error as @kmoney in beta 6. But not exactly the same error message: Version 7.5-beta-6 System.ArgumentException: An item with the same key has already been added. vid System.ThrowHelper.ThrowArgumentException(ExceptionResource resource) vid System.Collections.Generic.Dictionary`2.Insert(TKey key, TValue value, Boolean add) vid (<>c ) vid Unbroken.LaunchBox.Search.RomFiles.<>c.<PopulateFiles>b__2_0() vid System.Threading.ExecutionContext.RunInternal(ExecutionContext executionContext, ContextCallback callback, Object state, Boolean preserveSyncCtx) vid System.Threading.ExecutionContext.Run(ExecutionContext executionContext, ContextCallback callback, Object state, Boolean preserveSyncCtx) vid System.Threading.ExecutionContext.Run(ExecutionContext executionContext, ContextCallback callback, Object state) vid System.Threading.ThreadHelper.ThreadStart() I,ve discovered a pattern when this is happening: 1. I start Launchbox (the platform Sega Saturn is automatically selected from the previous session (I don't use categories)) 2. I select "Audit Saturn..." and get the error above every time. The platform doesn't matter, I get the error every time when I'm on the startup platform. If I change platform after a startup and select "Audit *****..." I never get an error. Something important seems to happen when you select a platform, before running the audit. Edit: No the "selecting platform" doesn't seem to matter. It only happens when i instantly select "Audit *****..." after startup, if I wait 30 seconds I get no error. Maybe there are some caching on startup that breaks auditing?
  2. I actually suggested a percentage progress bar in the last developer live session and Jason thought it was a good idea. I think Jason is finishing 7.5 and won't add new things for now. Hopefully he can come back to the auditing soon to make it better (but I think it's already very useful).
  3. I think the image processing is 80+ % of the loading time (I've tried checking/unchecking image types in the image priority options, which has a huge impact). I think there should be an option to exclude all image columns (when you want to audit other things than images).
  4. I've been trying out the auditing in the last days. I'm missing a column for the Launchbox GamesDB ID. I think this would be very helpful when auditing. I've come up with two options: 1. A checkbox indicating if the game has a Launchbox GamesDB ID (or not). 2. A link to the game on http://gamesdb.launchbox-app.com/ as in the "Edit Game"-dialog (and no link if the GamesDB ID is missing) I think I would prefer option 2, but option 1 should work too. What do you think?
  5. It's probably better to fix the VLC issues. I think you underestimate the development that is needed to switch to MPC.
  6. Awesome, I'm currently playing this game.
  7. The speed varies for me (I live in Sweden). Right now it was fast, 50 seconds. When upgrading to 7.0 it took about 3-4 minutes. It definitely seems to be slower if many people are downloading. You're sleeping in the US at this hour? And now the download is fast. Anyway, a slow download isn't really an issue for me.
  8. I did find @emko's ticket (and added a note): https://bitbucket.org/jasondavidcarr/launchbox/issues/1355/image-downloading
  9. I would like this functionality. I have duplicate images in many places now. The best option would probably be not to create any duplicate images in the first place (but removing duplicate images would be useful too). Checksums would be great. If there were checksums with every image in the games db (I don't know about Emumovies), unnecessary images wouldn't even need to be downloaded (saving time and bandwidth). Are there any existing algorithms that can find duplicates by analyzing the actual images? Is there a feature requests on BitBucket that I can vote for?
  10. Oh no, I use AHK for save/load state, fast forward, reset... but I understand that you had to remove it.
  11. Jason just added "Scan for removed ROMs" in the latest beta. Which means that my feature request isn't that important anymore.
  12. The Scan for Removed Games feature was exactly what I needed right now. I've just updated a ROM set (which means adding, deleting and renaming files). "Scan for Removed Roms" combined with "Scan for Added Roms" works just as expected. I noticed that you should run "Scan for Removed Roms" before "Scan for Added Roms" (when files have been renamed). "Scan for Added Roms" can't add a new ROM file if it matches a Title in LB that already exist.
  13. Thank you for this tool. I have a feature request: I know this is a media tool, but it would be great to know if the actual ROM file doesn't exist anymore. (maybe by adding the column "ROMExist")
  14. This is exactly the tool I would need right now. Does anyone know how to delete all games in LB where the ROM files doesn't exist anymore?
  15. I still can't use AHK with any of my two Xbox One Controllers. Launchbox/AHK doesn't read any input when Launchbox is unfocused (only when in focus). But this is working for you? When you say "driver", do you mean the Windows driver in the Device Manager? Or do you mean the controllers built in firmware in the Xbox Accessories app? When I got my new Xbox One Controller I noticed some minor hardware differences compared to the old. Both are the new version with the built in 3.5mm jack, but I think my "old" controller came out in 2015 and that the new one is a slightly updated 2016 version. Both are updated to the latest driver and firmware. The driver name is different, but it seems to be the same driver (version number match exactly). The firmware seems to be different (not the same version number). Xbox One Controller (2015 version): Driver Name: Xbox One Wireless Controller Driver Version: 10.0.14393.103 (2016-08-19) Firmware (Xbox Accessories app): 2.3.2 Xbox One Controller (2016 version): Driver Name: Xbox Wireless Controller Driver Version: 10.0.14393.103 (2016-08-19) Firmware (Xbox Accessories app): 3.1.1 Which driver/firmware versions do you have?
  16. I have written a script for Gzip batch conversion, which may be useful for someone. File Structure (you can of course edit the script to match your own file structure): All ISOs must be in seperate subfolders (only one ISO per subfolder). The gz file will get the name from the folder name Examples: "God of War II (USA)\God of War II (USA).iso" -> "God of War II (USA)\God of War II (USA).gz" "God of War II (USA)\image.iso" -> "God of War II (USA)\God of War II (USA).gz" Usage: Put gz.bat and 7z.exe (from 7-zip) in the folder where you have your ISOs in subfolders. Run gz.bat Comments: The script will delete the original ISOs. You can remove "-sdel" to keep the ISOs. If you want to have the highest compression level, change "-mx7" to "-mx9". (compression level 9 compared to level 7 seems to make very little difference on file size) If you add new ISOs, you can just run the script again (if original ISOs is deleted with "-sdel") gz.bat
  17. Yes, that would be the best way for Jason to troubleshoot this, if he could get the controller. But I'm not sure Jason can do anything about it if it's a firmware/driver issue. Unfocused applications seems to be unable to read input from the device. Or maybe there is a way for Launchbox to read the input anyway.
  18. Yes, I can control both Launchbox and BigBox, but AHK doesn't recognize any input at all. I've done some testing and experimenting and I think I know what's happening. I found some new drivers for a PS3 controller I have. Now Windows thinks the PS3 controller is a Xbox 360 controller. Btw, I also have the xboxstat.exe now (from the Xbox 360 Controller driver). Anyway, my PS3 controller acts like a Xbox 360 Controller and AHK is working. I've done some testing in standalone AHK with this script: https://autohotkey.com/docs/scripts/JoystickTest.htm My conclusion is this: Xbox One Controller: Only the focused application can read input. Unfocused applications can't read any input (Launchbox/AHK can only read input when focused, not when a emulator has the focus) Xbox 360 Controller: Input is sent to both focused and unfocused applications. I think it's the latest Xbox One Controller firmware. I can't know for sure, but I think you will break AHK if you upgrade.
  19. I don't understand why I can't get AutoHotKey to work. I don't think it has to do with Launchbox, I have no problem when using my old DirectInput controller. It may be the new firmware (which I have installed and you don't). Or maybe it has something to do with XInput. Are there any settings for XInput in Windows? I don't know much about XInput.
  20. Okej, thank you. From your'e description the order seem to depend on the order of the controller driver installation. I don't have a problem right now, but this is good to know.
  21. I can't find a xboxstat.exe process on my system. I have upgraded to the latest firmware on both controllers, but xboxstat.exe may come from the Xbox app (from Windows Store). I did uninstall the Xbox app (not the same as the Xbox Accessories app). Microsoft makes it difficult to uninstall it, I used this link: http://www.howtogeek.com/224798/how-to-uninstall-windows-10s-built-in-apps-and-how-to-reinstall-them/ I don't actually know what the Xbox app do. I just thought it only would be useful if you have a Xbox One (which I don't). Am I wrong?
  22. I really like the controller too. I actually bought a second one on Black Friday. It was almost half price here in Sweden. It wasn't that hard to set up the second controller in the emulators now that I know how to do it. How did you change controller order in Windows? For me this seems to be totally random, especially when you have both XInput and DirectInput controllers. I've noticed that switching USB ports can change the order. My only issue now is that I can't use AutoHotKey in Launchbox/BigBox. Do you use AutoHotKey?
  23. I have the "Nov 25 2016" build. I actually found out you can get more info about the setting if you press the RetroPad "Select"-button (maybe the "Share" button on your controller). You get a popup text with more info. I don't know if this is new, but I haven't noticed it before,
  24. That sounds like a nice solution, if you only use Retroarch. I wanted this to work with every emulator. I would like to use the Guide button too, on the XOC, but I think it's unmappable. I haven't found a way to use it. I have made some changes since my previous post. I switched from Xmapper to Antimicro (which is free and has similar functionality). And now I hold both triggers, and press a third button for a command.
  25. I finally found a solution for my Xbox One Controller (XOC). First, I can explain what I've been trying to do with AutoHotKey. I want to use combinations of multiple gamepad buttons for exiting the current game and for save/load state. I was able to set this up with my old Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2. AutoHotKey can take input from the Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2, but not from the XOC (I don't know why). I really wanted this to work with the XOC, to use this as my primary gamepad. Now, to the solution. I use Xpadder to translate button presses from the XOC to keyboard input (but Xpadder don't which emulator is running). I then translate the keyboard input from Xpadder to the correct keyboard input for the current emulator with AutoHotKey. I know, this sound complicated, but it actually work. I can explain better with an example. "I run a game in Retroarch and want to do a save state": I hold "Right Trigger" and press "Left Thumb". This will make Xpadder send "Ctrl+S". Then AutoHotKey will send RetroArch's key for save state "F2": ;Save State ^s:: { Send {F2 down} Sleep, 50 Send {F2 up} } Return
