The preservation train keeps rolling on with the scheduled September release of MAME 0.190. The Gaelco spree continues with Glass, Alligator Hunt and Maniac Square, and we’ve added support for two games on the hilariously misguided Tiger R-Zone system: Batman Forever and Indy 500. Emulation has been greatly improved for Mazer Blazer, Great Guns, and the Tecmo World Cup ’94 family of games, although all these games still have issues with unemulated protection.
In computer emulation, we’ve added support for ZX Spectrum slot devices. You’ll still get the Kempston Joystick Interface by default, but you can now swap it out for other devices, including a number of Currah cartridges. There are also some big improvements to the HP9000/300 series, and support for HP85 option ROMs.
You can get the source/Windows binaries from the download page and try it out.

That is weird, i am using a xbox one controller with the official microsoft wireless dongle and it works just fine for me in Demul. I can only think that something else on your system is interfering with it some how, i just went to controls and added them as normal, didn't have to do anything special it was just recognised straight off the bat as a controller so just added the buttons the way i wanted them.

Glad you got it working, sounds to me like it was a path issue but at least it's now working. No you don't need to uncheck everything when importing, as @lordmonkus and @DOS76 said that is just the default when actually importing, it can be changed anytime. As for the neo geo its very simple, just add the platform name and look at all the other cores above it in the associated platform list, they are all the same except for the actual name of the specific core. So just copy another line but replace the core name with the core you want to use.

OK i'm getting confused now, lol. If i was you i would go to manage emulators and remove your retroarch entry's there. Then re add it pointing to the location of your recently updated retroarch, then go to Genesis and click a game then ctrl a to highlight them all right click and choose edit to open the bulk edit wizard, choose emulator in the first box then retroarch in the second box.

In your emulators you have Retroarch and another one called Sega Genesis which is using a different version of retroarch, which one are the Genesis roms using?

Yeah, gonna have to agree with @lordmonkus here, if it was working and now isn't then something must of changed somewhere, hence why i asked if you had moved anything and what core you are using in retroarch. The screen cap that @lordmonkus asked for could help tremendously if you don't mind.

Have you set up a specific retroarch core for those systems? Have you moved your roms or emulator since you imported?

Arcade is in the dropdown, it shouldn't need to be manually typed. Glad you got it all squared away though.

You can go into your Launchbox/Updated folder and reinstall the newest version you have in there over the top of your current install, that should fix it for you.

If you just have the one system you can go to options/views in Bigbox and set the "Default Startup View" option to "All Games".

Yeah everything will work just the same in Bigbox, Launchbox is where you set everything up and Bigbox uses the exact same configuration.

Unfortunately i don't believe this is a option at the moment. I agree with the sentiment of the idea, but a no mouse interface is off the cards as how would you set it up?

Do you have Dolphin rendering to the main window or a separate one? That's the only thing i can think of off hand.

The email to support is your best bet here. Editing the name in the license file will break the license so it won't work anymore if tampered with. Also the name won't be removed from those screens either, it is there for a reason and is the same for everyone who has bought a license. I would just hold tight for a couple of day's for a reply to your email as i don't know how busy support is at the moment.
