  1. 1. mechanical games ie. something that needs a mechanical device of some king to operate, therefore not emulatable. Fruit= Fruit machine. 2. You can hide games if you want, for example a mame game that needs a .chd file you don't have so doesn't work you can hide from view but is still imported. 3. Arcade games often have several versions for different markets or with balance fixes. if you right click some of your arcade games you will probably see multiple versions of the same game. 4. Its very slight and just adds a line around a image in launchbox. 5. In your arcade video folder is also a theme folder that video is probably in there. Hope that answers your questions, if not fire away.
  2. @Charco Just tried myself, and no issues on my end. Behaves as expected.
  3. Oh and I would love to see the Zelda one.
  4. That's excellent news, I look forward to downloading it all. Thanks for all your hard work in putting that all together.
  5. No probs, FYI he was going to start work on nested filters today.
  6. Well that is strange, if the playlist is showing in bigbox then its reading the data from somewhere.
  7. Click on your windows platform on the left, then click the add button at the bottom right and navigate to your .exe.
  8. Could you upload the playlist .xml as well? That would make it a lot easier for people if they can just drop the .xml in and then download the video themes to go with it.
  9. OK, I just found a rom to test with. It seems to work fine for me with a xbox one controller. You need to hold down start and that brings up the controls for that machine, one of the buttons will be something like start game a, so remember that button and let go of start and then press that button to start the game. Here is a shot of how it looks for me.
  10. He had problems with the stream, constant buffering for everyone watching. So he stopped. Back Wednesday.
  11. Well ive not got any game & watch roms, so I cant test. ETA PRIME does mention in the video to hold down the start button to see the controls for that game, does that do anything?
  12. Does your controller work in other retroarch cores?
  13. Unfortunately you will need the .mgw files as these are the only file type the emulator supports, see shot.
  14. Well maybe in the meantime someone who has fully populated arcade playlist will upload them to the site, there is section for them now.
  15. Yeah that's quite a eye opener to see how much was missing, and that's just cps 2.
  16. Yeah, my point was I wouldn't of known if anything was missing unless you pointed that out to me. Everything is there in Arcade...... so yeah I guess that's a thing.
  17. Cheers for that, yeah loads missing.
  18. Lol, no probs. I actually had to go looking for it myself and couldn't find it to start with.
  19. As stated above the view you are using does not support clear logos, you will need to cycle to a different view in the theme that supports clear logos. Here is the option.
  20. Yeah I'm with @InfinityFox here, personally I don't actually know how many, or which games should be in the playlists. I imported a whole non-merged .183 set all 120gb worth, and I haven't gone looking for a particular game that I couldn't find in one of the playlists. So for me this feature has worked great and I'm very happy with it.

    Installing MAMES

Yep that's exactly what I wanted to check. Hence why I asked for the screenshot.
