  1. @Zombeaver When setting up multi disc games for ps1, is it okay to create the .m3u file and then just wrap all the files together in a zip and have launchbox pointed to it, or does it need to remain unzipped?
  2. @Jason Carr Before release of LB.Next could you consider moving ScummVM and DOSBox so by default they are created under the Emulators folder?
  3. Is it at all possible to create dynamic themed backgrounds in launchbox? Here’s a link to a PS4 theme to get the idea.
  4. Thanks, if it would help I can send you the settings.xml file
  5. @Jason Carr The latest version of Cemu (1.11.6b) has recently introduced a game list parser that creates a settings.xml file that lists the game name, path, version & DLC version. Could this be useful for launchbox to help with the import process, avoiding having to rename each game manually?
  6. I created a guide for importing Blizzard games. https://forums.launchbox-app.com/topic/40100-guide-how-to-import-blizzard-games-into-launchbox/#comment-251333 After import you can edit the platform for the games from Windows to what ever you desire. If you need help on how to, I can edit the guide and add that if if you think it'd be helpful.
  7. I don't actually play WoW so I'm not 100% sure. I believe it launches to a character select screen but then you might need to select things. If you find an answer, I'd be interested to hear it.
  8. This is a guide on how to import Blizzard Games into LaunchBox correctly. Aim If logged into Battle.net/Blizzard app, clicking on a game will immediately launch the game. This will avoid the situation where you click on a game and the Battle.net/Blizzard app opens and waits for you to select a game. Let's get started: First of all, we need to create shortcuts that bypass the launcher for each game. Navigate to the location of your Battle.net client. e.g. "C:\Program Files (x86)\Battle.net" Right-click on the shortcut titled "Battle.net" and select "create shortcut" Right-click on the newly created shortcut and click "Properties" Select the "Target" field, leaving all the text the same we want to add an additional line to the end. Add a space and then copy and paste the exact text, quotes to, for your specified game. Blizzard Diablo 3 --exec="launch D3" Hearthstone --exec="launch WTCG" Heroes of the Storm --exec="launch Hero" Overwatch --exec="launch Pro" StarCraft --exec="launch S1" StarCraft 2 --exec="launch S2" Warcraft III: Reforged --exec="launch W3" World of WarCraft --exec="launch WoW" World of WarCraft Classic --exec="launch wow_classic" ----------------------------------------------------------------- Diablo 3 Public Test Realm --exec="launch d3t" Heroes of the Storm Public Test Realm --exec="launch herot" Overwatch Public Test Realm --exec="launch prot" World of WarCraft Public Test Realm --exec="launch wowt" ----------------------------------------------------------------- Activision Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 --exec="launch VIPR" Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019) --exec="launch ODIN" Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered --exec="launch LAZR" Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War --exec="launch ZEUS" Select the "General" tab and rename the shortcut to the appropriate title for the game. Repeat this process for all games that you want. To keep things organised, you can move all the shortcuts into a folder inside your LaunchBox directory where you think is best. Once all the shortcuts you want have been created, we can open up LaunchBox. Select all the shortcuts you want to import and drag and drop them into the main LaunchBox game panel, this will begin the import wizard. For "What type of game files are you importing" select "None of the Above". For "What platform are you importing games for" select "Windows". Continue following the import wizard, choosing your desired settings. Your games should have been imported successfully into the Windows Platform. --- Other Commands ---- Opens or switches to Game tab --exec="focus play" Opens or switches to Shop tab --exec="focus shop" Opens or switches to Social tab --exec="focus social" Opens or switches to News tab --exec="focus news" Opens Friends window --exec="dialog friends" Opens Launcher and goes to Settings window --exec="dialog settings"
  9. List of Improvements: [Will edit as I think of more] Platform Folders 1. Editing the path locations for images for a particular platform; add the ability to tick a box to apply the same directory path to all, rather than having to manually edit 30 images folders for every platform. 2. Allow the ability to tick a box next to platform folders to turn off the creating of a folder. For particular platforms - I do not need a folder for everything and would rather not have empty folders everywhere. You can currently delete them however they will be recreated. Additional Apps 3. When launching an additional app before or after the main application - the ability to set a timer delay to allow the first program to load up properly before launching the main application. 4. Currently you can add an additional app to launch before or after a game. - Add the ability to bulk apply an additional app to several games. 5. Add the ability to apply an additional app directly to a whole Platform.
  10. @CoinTos Just tested, everything is working as expected, thanks a lot!
  11. @CoinTos Thanks for doing that. I'm using Kodi v.17 Krypton. I created a portable version of Kodi though so that might be the reason. Since it's not installed on C drive. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. @CoinTos Would it be possible to add the setting to specify where Kodi is located in the settings? Having trouble with relaunching Kodi after exiting Big Box. The setting is found in the Steam launcher addon for kodi if you want to rip it out of there.
  13. I just tried removing all japanese games from my snes collection on launchbox using the audit program, running 7.5. I think it was around 1000-1700 games can't remember but the audit program just hung with not responding for over 5 minutes.
  14. Did you download and try the add on from this forum thread? http://forums.launchbox-app.com/topic/33932-kodi-addon-for-launchbox/
  15. I'm happy to help with the data collection for the new audit tool, let me know what needs doing. @Jason Carr
  16. Yeah sorry I phrased that wrong I meant exactly that and potentially creating forum sections dedicated to certain console platforms for more focused discussions though that might not be necessary.
  17. I agree with you and have spoken a small amount with Jason about assigning people to dedicated sections of the games database.
  18. I have an application I want to launch through launchbox with an additional application set to launch beforehand. Is there a way to delay the application by so many seconds to allow the additional application to load up and be ready first?? I hope that makes sense
  19. Did you come across the original add on through the launchbox main website or through browsing the forums?
  20. This shouldn't really be under the launchbox game database forums. Try downloading the addon from this page - Kodi Addon for LaunchBox Let me know if this solves the issue. I think you downloaded the old version which had a few issues.
  21. Images were accepted 3 - 0 on 02/12/2016. I have tried resubmitting again. I selected the pre-existing image, clicked edit and then chose the replacement. Edit: I had to resubmit one twice but they both are pending with the correct new images now.
  22. I tried setting it up a couple months ago and gave up, i'll try again tomorrow first and see how I get on and ask if I run into any issues.
  23. Would you consider doing an updated version of DOS tutorial, not sure if anything has changed since then. I could not figure out what I needed to do exactly with the video
  24. Had the same errors for weeks. Adding a new game also shows this "N" game existing. Wonder if that is causing any of these issues Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. I found some higher res images for Civilization II, Windows. There is already a box art front and back for this game but these images are larger and clearer. I add images, select box art front, north american region and select the image. Repeated the same for the box art back. On viewing the change status page it showed the original images not my updated images, thought it may be a visual bug and left it alone. The images were both approved and there has been no update to the game images just the same original 2 Any ideas?
