  1. Yes. I'll see if I can re-produce it and share. Would there be any logs in the root path to check / share? My game population is rather small (< 2000) and I'm not using any merge functionality as I keep one version of any game. For instance, one crash occurred when I had searched "Zelda" under All, followed by switching the platforms. I may have switched it a few times one after the other because I misclicked, etc. edit: I'll also take note of the memory usage in case it's a memory leak.
  2. Ah. Well, great work nonetheless. The more options the merrier!
  3. Are there any themes that support 4:3?
  4. After you make changes to images, you must refresh the cache. Go to Options > Images > Refresh All. Restarts are not required at all. Yes, the caching could be smarter and identify when changes are done, but there's only one developer. Does the versioning make sense? Absolutely not. I'd say it's version 1.7.6 (Core version, Feature set, Patch / Beta). Theming vs customization of features are different. You can easily toggle features but customization of theme is done via XAML. Hyperspin themes are done in a similar fashion but in XML. This is to prevent limitations and enable creativity. Regarding the cost - that's like buying lunch twice or buying coffee for a week. It's not a lot and you support the development.
  5. Anyone noticing constant crashes with Launchbox (haven't tested BigBox)? No error log to present as it goes straight to "Not Responding". Only noticed this as I updated to the latest Beta from Beta 1. It happens most when navigating the platforms or performing a search / filter. Reverting to the latest stable fixes my crashes.
  6. Reinstall 4.7 .NET Framework as well as Direct X
  7. From what I understand, Launchbox themes are not made with 4:3 and resolution in mind.

  9. At the beginning of the year I tried experimenting with CEMU and i noticed that a lot of my discs would fail 4 out of 5 when loaded from a network location. Otherwise, it should work for you. If a bug was introduced in the latest version that is preventing Mario Kart from working, it would have definitely been mentioned.
  10. They are separate and as far as I know they are not interchangeable. Not sure how to use them as I don't use the core.
  11. Bummer. That's a question for Jason I believe.
  12. Reinstall Direct X 9, and .NET runtimes. I had to do it even though it said they were installed. Fixed it right up.
  13. That's fair. Is this how it would work? Genre Contains Adventure; Action Which would be Genre is equal to Adventure or Action. Genre Equals Adventure; Action which would be Genre is equal to both Adventure and Action.
  14. For the first one, can you check the field type? If a multi-value or value list provide a drop down of existing values to choose from? If multi-value, allow the use to choose multiple.
  15. How does it currently handle multi-values i.e. genres. For example: Developer: NES Genre: Adventure AND Action Here's another example: System: Playstation Genre: Action OR System: Playstation 2 Genre: Puzzle (1 AND 2) or ( 3 AND 4) How could I accomplish combinations like these?
  16. I'd like to see something like this. If the 'Advanced Operator' is blank then default to 'AND'
  17. @Jegeroel This is where I ended up to. Of course, you could adjust the XAML to consider resolution.. I just didn't get that far yet. Red84.rar
  18. aha I actually started to build this based on your previous mockup in pure XAML; however, I was deterred as I didn't have the .PSD which included the scan-lines and fonts. I tried to match but it didn't look the same. Navigation to the 'Recent' and 'Favorites' may not be as smooth as you hope for. You may have to choose only one to display. System change will be left and right. Then up and down for recent / favorites, then left and right - but it glitches. I primarily focused on the first view and it's mostly finished. I can share with you once I get home. If you don't decide to continue with coding this, I'd love if you would share your .PSD. I look forward to hear more of your progress.
  19. Are you on the beta or public release?
  20. Any chance to make Region a multi-value list?
  21. This may be a result on Region being a single value ( separated by coma) whereas Genre is a list (separated by semi-colon) and it will create those folders per the region in the game details. From my knowledge every game that was in Canada used the United States version. I'm not sure why we need all of "North America", "United States", and "Canada". https://imgur.com/a/HyzhS
  22. Sounds great - I'll have to download it when I get home. While we're on topic of regions and prioritization with the latest beta, I wanted to know if it made more sense to separate regions rather than combinations e.g. "USA, Europe" in regards to media folder structure. It gets a little confusing when I see: "USA", "Europe", "USA, Europe". How would prioritization work if: 1. USA 2. Europe And I had images in each of the 3 folders I mentioned above?
  23. ^ It would seem it needs a priority list similar to the artwork.
