  1. Not yet...it's a separate thing....i'm still working on them a bit
  2. go into "WheelGamesView","Wheel2GamesView", and "Wheel3GamesView" xaml files in the default theme....change the instances that say FilterTitle to KnownPlatformOrPlaylistTitle Save them and see if this fixes it...it shoud...somehow the default slipped by me for that change "TextGamesView" as well
  3. Is this in the Default theme,or are you using the Arcade addon? When you say "categories other than arcade", do you mean consoles and handheld system playlists show no logo?
  4. Refried has been updated to version 1.6! Please update your Main theme as well as any addons you currently use
  5. What's the difference between a Startup screen and a Fade screen? Just the ability to fade?
  6. I'm just gonna see how this goes...because it sounds like I need to make a new project folder soon.
  7. I have to update the Default theme...as well as the Collections/Genres/Developer/Favorites packages...the platform addons should technically not need any changes. I will make that a priority today. I'm pretty sure the default sounds...I haven't messed with sounds yet
  8. MS-DOS logos...Those that use DOS will understand...
  9. On Another Note...41 Systems down...24 to go...
  10. The Refried theme is not set up that way...in order to do what you are asking,it requires a rewrite of the Platform view xaml. You can feel free to browse through the default Refried menu artwork..it's in the Images folder inside the theme...and you can replace them with the ones you want to use...but,you will still need to alter the location and size of the video,as well as remove alot of stuff you don't want from it or it will still show. This will also only change the default artwork,so it will be the same across the whole theme for all platforms. If you want different art for each system, while it is possible, that's just not possible with this theme. I did mess around with different images for each system in the platform view, but,it was not the direction I wanted to go in the end with the theme,so I abandoned the idea and scratched the code.
  11. Took me most of the day just for this one...but,it came out better than I thought it would...
  12. You can run any main theme you want really...as long as you have the Unified Refried default theme in your theme folder for the addons to reference..the game info screen will take on the properties of the main theme though
  13. Had to draw up my rendition of these ScummVM fonts to use for the logos i'm making...apparently the actual font doesn't exist...
  14. Just checking a few things here... They are not showing up where exactly?...in the popup list when you press the hotkey to change themes, while in a platform game view? If you set the hotkey, then while in a game view...atari 2600 for example...you press that hotkey and select "Unified Refried - Atari 2600" from the popup Is this where the issue is coming in at?
  15. Here is a sample sheet with 1 logo from a bunch of the other sets I have completed
  16. Sega Ringedge is already in the theme,as well as in the Arcade addon...the other 2 are not...i'll see what I can do after my current project is finished.
  17. This is exactly how I got started like 5 years ago! I actually use GIMP most of the time as well...2.10.0 to be exact...but I keep older versions as well,to use for different features that they cut out.In 2.10 I just use the default drop shadow settings, also, using the Cartoon and Median Blur filters (In low amounts) can really make a picture look clearer than it originally was. In the color menu, play around with the Brightness-Contrast and Saturation settings as well..they can make the artwork pop when used in moderation.
  18. Thanks!...It is working on my end..but,until he does an official release with the fix,and not just a beta release,I will not update the files in the download section. The reason being, that the current Big Box,for those that don't use beta releases, would break the theme with the changes implemented already. He should be updating the Official really soon though.
  19. Done 16 systems so far today..sleep time now...but,here is a sample of a few I got done...
  20. Next logical step right?....might take a while for every system though...
  21. I am glad to see someone working on additions to the theme...every bit counts towards covering every system and the help is much appreciated. With that said,I would love to add these to the official list, and I would credit you in the description of course, but, there are a few things that I would change before then... Nintendo Game Boy Player *The Wario picture is the same one I used for Nintendo Game Boy...and each system needs a unique picture...even if it's wario but in a different stance. *The "_Default - No Art" border needs to have the logo for the system as well,as that is the border that is used when box/cart art is displayed. *Delete the Alts folder,or match the alts to the system *A system picture with the actual Game Boy Player is preferred, but, not necessary *All character art in the theme uses a drop shadow to give it more depth Nintendo iQue *Same as above with the drop shadow, the "_Default - No Art",as well as the Alts folder *there are a couple loose pixel fragments in the video window where the preview displays Super Nintendo Entertainment System (PAL) *Same as above with the drop shadow, the "_Default - No Art",as well as the Alts folder Nintendo GBA Video *Same as above with the drop shadow as well as the Alts folder *I do try to not have the character art run into the logo art,as well as not run off screen...for the themes anyways...so I would shrink the dog slightly (cool picture though) Overall *Each theme would need a Default border to go with the Unified Refried default theme as well..it has the border, with the logo on the top,and the system in the bottom left corner *I would need any Logo and character art assets to make matching Platform videos, because people WILL ask for them...unless you wanted to do that yourself as well..either way is fine. Please take this all as constructive criticism, and by all means none of these changes need to be made. If you choose to just go with them in the present state, and upload them separately,I can still link to your downloads through the theme comments section if you wanted me to. Thanks for the work you have done!
  22. Updating the theme now so this will be sorted out Not sure why you had this issue,as mine doesn't display any problem like this...but,glad you got it sorted So you mean,if you have a playlist called "Sucky Games"...the border is the default border?..That is because I have not created a border called "Sucky Games"...any custom playlists will have to have artwork made for them as well, and it's impossible to cover every playlist,or possible playlist,so I just covered what is on my machine. I am not sure if there is a way to change the border by game, and I highly doubt there is,but,it is also not something I plan on implementing. **btw..I am back online..and I have reuploaded the Hacks platform category video,I have uploaded like 65+ more Refried platform videos, and I am currently working on an update for the main theme,as well as all addon themes to incorporate the new playlist functions in some way**
  23. Gonna have to address all issues in a week or two...we were not able to keep up with the internet bill this month,so its off until we do...sorry if there is any inconvenience, but,Once I am back online I will take care of anything still needing attention.
  24. Videos go in "Launchbox/Videos/Platforms/" and "Launchbox/Videos/Playlists"...they should be named the exact same name that your platform/playlist is named. Logos go in "Launchbox/Images/Platforms/(System Name)/Clear Logo/" or "Launchbox/Images/Playlists/(Playlist Name)/Clear Logo/" ...and follows the same naming rule.
