  1. Yes I am using exodos. How does that relate to the issue?
  2. Great to hear Let me know when it's released and I will be keen to try it out!
  3. Sure. There are hundreds of them. Here is one:
  4. Thanks for the reply @neil9000. I actually have everything ticked there, except for "portable". Perhaps I should add - in the game details pane, the screenshot heading is there (indicating that it is selected) but nothing shows below it.
  5. Jason said: I know this was happening with a previous beta, but it should have been fixed, and I've looked at the code and it's the same as regular LaunchBox now. Are you sure you're on beta 16? Also, check your image priority settings for screenshots. Unfortunately this is still happening. For many games, screenshots are present, and they show in the main game browser and also if you edit the game (or press CTRL+I to view images) - but they don't appear in the game details pane!
  6. Good to hear that you are still with us Romfrosk! It does indeed sound like you’ve been busy! Regarding the roms, from my perspective I’m mainly interested in the flash games at the moment. Can you remember how you found them in the first place?
  7. And his last words were “Ive download a sh*t ton of games”. Maybe he OD’d
  8. I wonder if the media size slider function could be improved. Currently it simply increases or deceases the size of the media in the main window. This means that the user has to manually fiddle with it to get the size correct in order to fill the available space. I would argue that you would never need or want to have any "wasted" space in the main window - so the size slider should "jump" to the next particular size that fills the available space. Hope this makes sense.
  9. @Jason Carr - I wonder if you can comment on the above? Launchbox Next is showing me the correct total game count for "handhelds", but BigBog is only counting the platforms and not the games in the playlists. I'm using CriticalCid's Criticalzone blue theme.
  10. I think if you mention his name - @Jason Carr then it gets flagged up to him.
  11. Well if you want to stick with the old LB then it would still be worth asking Jason or someone for advice I think. LB Next has gone through a number of updates in the past few weeks and I understand that the official release will have some further customisation options (with themes coming in a later release) so will be worth keeping an eye on!
  12. Yes, I wouldn't worry about anything that is not in LB Next as LB is about to get PHAZED OUT!
  13. Oh, sorry for the misunderstanding. Game counts should still show. Hopefully someone else with more knowledge in this are can chime in.
  14. It should show counts for playlists just like platforms. You say "not when I select playlists" - you don't have to select an item in the left-hand menu to see the item count - they should just be displayed anyway.
  15. Romfrosk could you advise me re this flash library as well please.
  16. Thanks for your reply @Jason Carr I suppose that makes sense when you consider how large the cache could become. It would however be very helpful if the box size could be set in LBN on a per platform basis! Due to the different sizes and shapes of boxes (or whatever media image is preferred for the display) for different platforms, having the same size for all platforms means that many will not look right. Is this something that you have perhaps considered?
  17. Thanks for your reply neil9000. I completely understand the issue of resource intensity. However, one word in reply - option! This could be an option in LB so that those with the necessary resource (and it may not work out as that much required, who knows) would be able to benefit from such a great feature!
  18. Deciding which media format is the best one to display in LB is tricky. For games which had boxes, I think that the 3D box image is probably the best. The 2D box image is OK but there is nothing to differentiate it from being like a flyer or a flat image. The 3D box image makes it clear that it is a box and is therefore a bit more true to the original media. What would be great however is if LB could implement a "true" 3D box ability - by this I mean a rendered 3D box which can be manually rotated and moved just like a real box. That would really give an amazing impression of the original media and I can't imagine it getting any better than that other than by having the physical media itself. Keen to hear others' thoughts on this feature. @Jason Carr I wonder if this is something that you have thought about?
  19. Regarding image cacheing - if LBN caches the images for a certain size, and the user resizes them (leading to another cache process) but then goes back to the original size, do the original sized images need to be re-cached or does it remember the cache from the last time they were that size?
  20. Another issue @CriticalCid - the total game count for a platform doesn't seem to be correct for my "Handhelds" category. They way that I have organised this category is to have 1 platform and 2 playlists in it. The 2 playlists take games from another platform, which is not in the handheld category. The problem is, the total game count only shows the games for the platform and not for the playlists. Is this because the platform that the playlists take games from in not in the category? Thanks!
  21. Thanks neil9000. Looks pretty technical, but I will have a read!
  22. Is there any guide or guidance available anywhere to help with making a BigBox theme? I'm keen but have no coding experience and don't know where to start.
  23. It's the Criticalzone blue theme. Perhaps Cid can advise.
