    Regarding image cacheing - if LBN caches the images for a certain size, and the user resizes them (leading to another cache process) but then goes back to the original size, do the original sized images need to be re-cached or does it remember the cache from the last time they were that size?

    Another issue @CriticalCid - the total game count for a platform doesn't seem to be correct for my "Handhelds" category. They way that I have organised this category is to have 1 platform and 2 playlists in it. The 2 playlists take games from another platform, which is not in the handheld category. The problem is, the total game count only shows the games for the platform and not for the playlists. Is this because the platform that the playlists take games from in not in the category? Thanks!

    Sorry to hear that man. I have to say from your screenshot that it is the best theme I've seen - and I've been through pretty much all of them! Having the big video but also the transparent picture of the arcade cab, the box and the board, along with the info and clear logo - looks excellent. The marquee is of course a bonus. This work really needs to be finished, for the sake of the community! If I had the skills I would try and carry on with this work, though unfortunately I don't. I installed Microsoft Visual Studio to try and edit some themes but haven't even scraped the surface of that.

    I don't think that the current spacing is too bad - though a slider to adjust the spacing would be a welcome addition to the customisation options. Theming LB Next, wow that sounds great! Didn't know about that.

    I just noticed that the total game count for my category "handhelds" is wrong. I only have 3 platforms under handhelds at the moment - Game Boy, Nintendo Game & Watch and Electronic Handheld Games. The latter 2 are playlists, with the "platform" for these playlists not listed under a category. Is this expected behaviour? Can I get the total game count to include these playlists I made?

    Also - it would be great if you could press "I" on the platform details screen to show the associated images, just like you can on the game details screen!

    Just to chip in here - I’ve not re-read all of the above - but proper thumbnail presentation in general is a bit of a pet issue of mine! The wonders of smooth and responsive scrolling through thumbnails with no latency.....aaaahhhh!! Really adds a feel of quality of the experience. The Apple Mac is generally good at this. I too would like LB to have a solid cache with no regeneration of thumbnails after they have initially been generated!

    I think the answer is to enable the "use file extension" option or something in the LB AAE emulator settings. Then it bypasses the AAE menu and goes straight into the game, and you can use bezels!

    Yes it seems to work fine without bezels! In fact I think the games work with bezels (I tried one and it worked fine), but then the main menu didn't show!

    Just trying to get it to work, but the main menu has stopped showing. It will start up and I can hear the sounds so I think the menu is there - it just won't show in the screen! If I load a game (without being able to see which one as the menu won't show), then the game runs fine. If I then quit the game and go back to the menu, I can see the menu! But if I then exit and restart AAE, the menu disappears again. Any help appreciated! EDIT - it seems to be that turning on the bezel art causes the above problem! Weird. I would like to be able to use the bezel art though. Any ideas?

    Are those playlists accurate? The one for Capcom CPS-1 has Buster Bros listed, but that is not a CPS-1 game.

    I split my MAME/arcade roms into playlists using the LB import. Is there anywhere I can see how many games should appear in each playlist, or some way to make sure I have the correct number?

    Sorry eXo I wasn't clear in my question - I meant after the first install had been done. I think I've figured it out though - by editing the dosbox.conf file. I tried most of the shaders and am not convinced they're that great. Not on a par with what is available in MAME anyway!

    With the current beta, I have noticed that the screenshots sometimes do not show in the game details pane, when screenshots are present (and correctly labelled) for that game.

    Is your RAID storage in a NAS or local PC? Took a look at Backblaze, but they don't seem to do NAS at the price point you mention - you have to move up to a business deal which is much more expensive.
