  1. Something else I have noticed that could be improved - if you are browsing games with videos in Launchbox Next and you choose to play the music, then the music plays but the video sounds keep playing too and so they overlap. When you click play on the music, perhaps the video should pause? Also, some kind of progress bar/indicator for the music would be great.
  2. Wow, looks great!! Regarding the marquee monitor - you said that the marquees are different sizes and you can’t get one monitor that fits all - but all of the MAME marquees have empty space above and below them (which you have filled with the blurred picture). So wouldn’t it be better to get a slightly longer aspect ratio monitor?
  3. Lol wtf is this! I can imagine coming across this on a trip and just staring at it trying to work it out.
  4. Patience is a virtue..... ?
  5. LOVE this! I’m also a fan of anything psychedelic. Great collection of UV responsive artworks you got there. Especially like the keep on truckin me! Awesome room.
  6. Not yet, but I’ve got my eye on one or two on eBay! ?
  7. This is looking awesome man, really good work! I think some of those games views might look great with a separate marquee monitor, no? ?
  8. OK Harryoke, I will use less unnecessary syllables in future ? My post was a joke, looks like I have to make that clear. No offence meant to anyone. Now let’s get back on topic ?
  9. NUMBERS MEAN LITTLE TO ME. MY FLASH GAMES COLLECTION ALONE NUMBERS 350,000. I WOULD HAVE TO CITE GRAHAM'S NUMBER TO BEGIN TO APPROACH ANY CONCEPTUALISATION OF THE ENORMITY OF MY COLLECTION. Back at the ranch - I'm migrating from HS to LB so not actually sure how many games are in my collection, but should know soon. Though there are 350,000 flash games. Thanks Romfrosk.
  10. Agreed too. I'm having the same problem, by the way. Running BigBox on my external 4K monitor. Despite being set up properly, the marquees don't always show on my other (laptop) screen. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. I haven't yet managed to work out why. Is there any consensus yet on what is going on with this?
  11. An odd issue that I have noticed over the last 1-2 weeks (and it persists with the current beta). This problem is independent of the external monitor. It doesn’t occur on first starting LBN when loading the first game. After that however, sometimes when I load a game in LBN by double clicking on it (it doesn’t happen if I right click and then select play), the game selection will jump to the game directly below and the game details will change accordingly. This is visible for 1-2 seconds before the emu loads and takes the screen.
  12. Yes, I have the same problem. I have identified one trigger for this behaviour - when I am using a different monitor (with LBN, or at least the video snap, paused), then return to the one that has LBN on it and single-click on a game, the game will launch. If I click elsewhere in the LBN window and then single-click on a game, it doesn’t launch. Does this apply to you at all?
  13. That made me laugh, especially number 5! Yes, I don't really want to change the marquee image's aspect ratio, nor crop the artwork. I could get used to it, turn out the lights or paint the walls - but ideally I would find a monitor that has the correct dimensions for showing marquees! I realise that they are all different but there must be a size which is most common.
  14. What size is your LG marquee monitor? There are black bars at the top and bottom of the image - is there a way to have it fill the whole screen, or would that stretch it to the wrong proportions? Is there a screen that is already the right proportions?
  15. Thanks for the info. Something to look forward to then. Would be great if Launchbox could support 2 extra screens - one for the marquee and one for something else, like a the poster/advert.
  16. Works fine for me in BigBox.
  17. Good re. the spacing being implemented. I would suggest however that having settings for vertical and horizontal "spacing" as well as "padding" is somewhat confusing. It is not clear on what the difference is, and on adjusting them it remained unclear. I wonder if a single setting would be easier to use? Also, I think that being able to set box size (and ideally spacing) settings per platform would be really helpful.
  18. Yes, must be nearing the end of this beta now :)
  19. Where, GreenGriffon? I don't see it.
  20. Nice to be able to press I to view the images fullscreen in BigBox. Would be good to have a keyboard button to view video fullscreen too in BigBox.
  21. Setting up a marquee on a second screen via BigBox is great. But there are many systems that don't have a marquee. By default, BigBox then shows the front box. Is there any way to change what BigBox shows if there is no marquee?
  22. Looking great, and thanks for the tag! A suggestion - make all the arcade machines face the same way. In the first screenshot, 3 are facing to the right (which looks correct) but one is facing to the left (which doesn't look so good and also breaks the consistency). Flipping/mirroring an image is relatively quick and easy.
  23. Using the latest beta - the spacing options don't seem to work; is this expected?
