Thanks DOS76 - I am aware of this feature though have not looked at it in a long time. I will check it as soon as I can and report back! I didn't think that it would be relevant, seeing that I was manually saving core overrides.

Just updated to Beta 19. Like Monkus I have only added a fraction of my collection to Launchbox so far, though I also noticed a good performance improvement when scrolling through games! Also, on brief testing this morning, the single-click-run-game bug did not manifest - also great! Hopefully that is it gone now. Will test further later today also. One strange thing that is happening is that Retroarch doesn't seem to be remembering my video settings at times - I haven't worked out exactly what triggers this however. It remembers them if I save core overrides, quit Retroarch and then load another game. I thought it was to do with restarting Launchbox, though on testing that yesterday Retroarch did remember the settings when I did that. This morning when I opened up Launchbox (PC had not been restarted), Retroarch again reverted back to old video settings. I suspect that this is not to do with Launchbox, though just thought I'd mention it in case.

Thanks for the advice regarding the sleep command - I will try it. Also, in relation to the large games lists, I too would be keen to help ensure that Launchbox can handle big lists, as I am planning to try and import a 300,000+ flash games library into it!

Just happens in Launchbox and not noticed this anywhere else. The mouse is fine Good thought though. The other thing that is still happening is that when I double click on a game to load in Launchbox, Launchbox quickly jumps to the next game before the (correct) one is loaded.

Single clicking on a game after a window on another screen is still causing the game to launch for me Jason (beta 18). It also happens when I exit Retroarch (on the same monitor) and then single click on another game - it loads up again!

I have this problem intermittently too. For what it’s worth, I use a 4K screen so would be keen that it all works in 4K!

Maybe go out to arcades and take some pics ourselves -
Honestly I think it might be more hassle than it’s worth! Taking forever to download over FTP, and will probably break Launchbox when I try and import those numbers. Most are probably crappy one-off games anyway. But if you’re a completionist like me then maybe you want it lol! Happy to help once I have it, or you could approach Romfrosk for help too.

Something else I have noticed that could be improved - if you are browsing games with videos in Launchbox Next and you choose to play the music, then the music plays but the video sounds keep playing too and so they overlap. When you click play on the music, perhaps the video should pause? Also, some kind of progress bar/indicator for the music would be great.

Futurestate Neon Deluxe (Coming soon)

Wow, looks great!! Regarding the marquee monitor - you said that the marquees are different sizes and you can’t get one monitor that fits all - but all of the MAME marquees have empty space above and below them (which you have filled with the blurred picture). So wouldn’t it be better to get a slightly longer aspect ratio monitor? -

This is looking awesome man, really good work! I think some of those games views might look great with a separate marquee monitor, no? ? -
NUMBERS MEAN LITTLE TO ME. MY FLASH GAMES COLLECTION ALONE NUMBERS 350,000. I WOULD HAVE TO CITE GRAHAM'S NUMBER TO BEGIN TO APPROACH ANY CONCEPTUALISATION OF THE ENORMITY OF MY COLLECTION. Back at the ranch - I'm migrating from HS to LB so not actually sure how many games are in my collection, but should know soon. Though there are 350,000 flash games. Thanks Romfrosk.

Agreed too. I'm having the same problem, by the way. Running BigBox on my external 4K monitor. Despite being set up properly, the marquees don't always show on my other (laptop) screen. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. I haven't yet managed to work out why. Is there any consensus yet on what is going on with this?

An odd issue that I have noticed over the last 1-2 weeks (and it persists with the current beta). This problem is independent of the external monitor. It doesn’t occur on first starting LBN when loading the first game. After that however, sometimes when I load a game in LBN by double clicking on it (it doesn’t happen if I right click and then select play), the game selection will jump to the game directly below and the game details will change accordingly. This is visible for 1-2 seconds before the emu loads and takes the screen.

Yes, I have the same problem. I have identified one trigger for this behaviour - when I am using a different monitor (with LBN, or at least the video snap, paused), then return to the one that has LBN on it and single-click on a game, the game will launch. If I click elsewhere in the LBN window and then single-click on a game, it doesn’t launch. Does this apply to you at all?

That made me laugh, especially number 5! Yes, I don't really want to change the marquee image's aspect ratio, nor crop the artwork. I could get used to it, turn out the lights or paint the walls - but ideally I would find a monitor that has the correct dimensions for showing marquees! I realise that they are all different but there must be a size which is most common.
