I tried doing this, downloading only the gameplay videos and the theme videos, though it seems to have affected a lot of my games - I now have duplicates, and some games which should have artwork are missing it! Deleted all of LB and am downloading the torrent again to start afresh.

How to I remove the art behind the games in LB? I have selected the default background, but whenever I select a game, the screenshot for that game appears in the background. I've searched the background options and can't find this anywhere.

Why would it affect the existing artwork media if I am only scraping for the game video?

Took over 5 minutes. I haven't re-run the setup.bat again. I'm wondering if these particular games just don't have covers. Do they have covers on yours? Also - does the exoDOS collection have sound or video samples? Don't seem to see any in LB.

This would be a great feature. I don't buy the argument that it encourages users to add to the database - as for many early DOS games, no boxart exists and an image of the disc or something is used instead. Hassle to go through 3000+ games doing this - would be good to specify a default "missing" image for each system.

Just ran setup....how do we know when it has finished? My CMD window appears to have stopped inflating files, and it says "1 file copied" at the bottom (though it seemed to inflate many files just not 1). And the window just stays there when finished. Also - the folder structure is now D:\launchbox\exodos, with the exodos folder containing the launchbox files. This seems a bit messy, as the launchbox folder is empty apart from the exodos folder. Can I move everything that is in the exodos folder up 1 level into the launchbox folder, so that launchbox.exe is in the launchbox folder? Plus a lot of the games have no cover art (see below) - is this expected behaviour? Just checking I've done it right

I just happened to be browsing the games collection of another user (@elitemanhood, as it happens) and can see the list of platforms in the menu bar on the left. The number of items per platform is not shown however. It would be great if the number of items per platform was shown, so we can see how many games the user has per platform. Can this be implemented? Thanks!

Oh dear! So it's not very easy as harryoke and I were hoping! Would it be possible exo to have LB on the external drive too? And then have the games inside that LB folder? Was really hoping to have LB local (along with all the media), with the games on the NAS (like to for the rest of my 10TB collection).

Can you confirm exo? And if we can do this, does it change your instructions at all?

Surely it’s possible to have LB on the local drive and the ROMs elsewhere with more storage?

But can’t you just point the torrent at that folder on a network drive? Why does it all have to be copied to a local drive? My laptop only has about 50GB free space.

Erm....do we have to copy the entire 220GB exodos folder to the LB install folder on our local machine? There’s no way I have that much free space. All my games and ROMs are stored on a NAS. Surely this step isn’t necessary? Exo?

So just to check - if we point the torrent at our existing exodos folder as per the instructions, then when we import into LB doesn’t it import the whole lot, including the old V2?

I'm looking to set up multiple systems within Launchbox, include MAME, computers and consoles. The thing that is confusing me a little at the moment is the ROM management side of things. Do you need a separate ROM manager (e.g. such as RomCenter) when you have Launchbox? Does Launchbox "audit" the ROMs in any way (and by that I mean check that they are intact etc).
