  1. Good day friends, With ETA's recent tutorial on importing MAME, I was finally successful in adding that collection to LaunchBox. In doing so, I had selected the option to also create the subcategories (if you will) that fall into the classics- Atari, Data East, Nintendo, etc. A few days later I managed to also import my Daphne collection using the .txt and .bat files ETA has included that with that tutorial. However, now I appear to have two Daphne platforms in both LaunchBox and BigBox. I was wondering what would be the best solution so that there is only one Daphne entry? Any assistance would be much appreciated, thank you.
  2. Thanks for this RetroNi! I've been wondering how to get this setup, and the provided media is a nice bonus, thank you! And thank you Retro808 for the provided escape hotkey. This definitely makes it more convenient.
  3. And there goes Lordmonkus again with the answer! "He's on fire!" I setup up PopCap, and Pinball in one night, mostly by referring to posts nearly a year old now. Thanks for being such an asset to the LaunchBox community!
  4. You're awesome, thank you. I may have questions at another time, but I'll leave you be. This may sound like a dim whited observation, but from what I gather "Moderator" implies that you are a member of staff. And if that it case, you and the rest of the LaunchBox team are absolutely fantastic! I'm proud to say I'm a premium user. Have a great night.
  5. Last question, do you know if there is a way to modify the description? Because of they it was scraped, it's pulling Windows information.
  6. It did indeed, thank you. Do you by chance know if there is an associated wheel logo's art folder I change so that it reflects the correct Art work in different views? I answered my own question: I just need to find a corresponding .png for PopCap I should be good to go. Thanks again for all your help!
  7. Thank you again for your response. I think that just about fixed it, this appears to be my only remaining problem: In BigBox, the Windows platform now shows up twice; one for PC Games, one for PopCap. I'm thinking that the solution has something to do with the image folder, but I'm sure you would know better. Do you by chance have any idea of how I go about fixing this?
  8. Thank you for your time and response. Well, in looking at your example, I removed the games from the PopCap entry, and re-added them using the drag and drop method. I then scraped the games as Windows per your suggestion. In my LB setup, PopCap now has it's platform category as does Windows. In BB however, the Windows Games platform seems to have been overwritten by the PopCap platform. Is there an easy way you can think of to have two separate categories in BigBox?
  9. Hi Lordmonkus, I know it's been been a while since you've written on this topic. I have recently imported my PopCap collection by importing files, filtering by .exe, selecting a random emulator and adding the games to LB. I then went back, did a mass edit and removed the associated emulator. I can launch the games in LB and see what media is available. However, when I go into BigBox, PopCap does not show up as a platform. Would you or anyone else happen to have any suggestions to get this to show up in BB?
This is beautiful work. It's nice to have some artwork go along with this gem. Thank you!
  10. Hey I appreciate prompt reply! Well in following your directions and still got the same results, I did however stumble upon the solution. The game details panel needed be stretched to the left a bit so there was enough room for video to be displayed. The good news is that it can still use the VLC player in order to do the video playback. When I exit LB and go back into it, the game details panel defaults to being sized just a bit too small for video. Do you know if there is a way to tweak the default so that it is always wide enough to show the video by default?
  11. Hi Brad, When I follow the steps provided: show video in game details and auto-play video under view, I can hear the video playing in the background but there isn't any visual display. Is there some sort of option that needs to be checked in order to see the visual?
