Check the \Launchbox\Videos folders to see? That is where they would go if you have any. Also the video, if LB downloads them, will be named as the games are named. So if you copy in videos on your own remember the name them as the game is named in Launchbox.

Try switching video playback sources. BigBox gives you the option to use VLC or WMP. I used to have issues with VLC on one of my machines. Then double check the video settings.

Default does support it.

Got it! I thought they needed to be in the "banners" folder. Working perfectly now, thanks.
Good to hear.

Video playback is possible both in Launchbox and BigBox. There are settings in both you need to check to make sure playback is on. Also, in BigBox some themes support video playback in certain views and some may not support it at all.

Yes. I cannot remember though if videos are a feature available only in premium version or not.

All the platforms should use the Arcade - Marquee folder. Just place your images there and they need to be named as each game is named. After you add new images make sure you go to settings in BigBox and refresh the image cache. Other than making sure you have the monitors defined in BigBox as to which is the marquee you do not have to do anything special. I switch between quite a few themes and no issues (Critical Zone, Nostalgia, AON MQ7, and the new CoverBox to name some).

Now it makes sense, you were copying your roms over to the LB rom folder and there was no bios being copied over so FBA was not seeing your bios.
Edit: If you want to have your rom files in the LB\roms folder you would need to copy over the neogeo.zip bios into that folder manually.
And there it is. You even asked about the bios early on. A good pro tip going forward on a reason why one should not use the move option during importer. @Nour T. glad you finally got sorted.

@wizzel The api issue is not uncommon. It has happened a few times before. It is usually sorted relatively quickly.

Looks like that ratings thing is not just a beta issue. My other cabinet that is still on 7.16 shows the same issue as well.

This is a function of the emulator, not Launchbox/Bigbox

The folder really should not matter as long as you are pointing Launchbox correctly to the rom and the emulator .exe. In Launchbox can you right click and edit Metal Slug in your Neo Geo games and share a pic of the launcher tab and emulation tab? Just to complete the visual check of your settings. Not sure if ti will show anything but better to have more data to troubleshoot from.

Have you tried a different core with those games through Launchbox? As @Lordmonkus mentioned this is pretty odd as all your setting are as they should be. I would launch the game through RA direct and then go into the settings with the game launched and confirm the core it used, then do the same by launching the game through Launchbox. If through both ways the cores are the same then I would try in Launchbox using a different FBA core and see if the game works or not.

For GBA it is the same steps in Retroarch @Lordmonkus showed for PS1. Launch a game and hit F1 in the options change the Skip BIOS to off.
For Gamecube here is what you need if you use standalone Dolphin emulator:
You need an IPL.bin file for the bios (EUR, JP, USA) to play. You can find it easily in Google. Place the file for the region you want in a folder of the regions name in the \Dolphin\Sys\GC folder structure. So if you use USA it should look like \Dolphin\Sys\GC\USA\IPL.bin (or whatever the main folder name is for your dolphin emulator). Then run Dolphin and do the following:
Go to the Config > GameCube and untick the function " skip the bios " then click OK
Go to the Graphic > Hacks > untick function " XFB ( External Frame Buffer ) change to real

Some recommendations from a similar post here.

I noticed a post in this sub forum that Jason improved performance in DB moderation a few days back and one of the mods mentioned several pages were approved quickly now.

When it comes to specific game issues for PS3 I recommend keeping the RPCS3 forum handy.
If you go under the commercial games section and then playable you usually can search for your game if it is deemed playable and often find settings used. Here is a quick search result on their forum for Demon's Soul. Looks like similar issue to what you reported.

New features requests are good that way the community base can vote for it. The more votes the more Jason knows we want it. It is an evolution process and it really is one man coding versus a team. So some things will take longer to implement especially if the larger community is not requesting it.

So, not sure exactly what is not working.
1. BigBox/Launchbox will not allow you to change the button map at all. As in you cannot click the option and make a change.
or
2. You can click the option and change it, but it just does not save the change and reverts back to your original setting?

In Launchbox you would need software like @Lordmonkus mentioned to make the controller act like a keyboard. LB is the sort of pc front end and is mainly used with Keyboard and mouse.
Edit: NVM the great one beat me to it.

If you use the import wizard in Launchbox during new game imports make sure you tick the checkbox for videos. There will be ones for Launchbox and ones for Emumovies accounts. If you already imported a game just right click it and edit. Choose download Images/Media in the bottom right corner. You can also do prior imported games in bulk.
