  1. @Jason Carr So far I have only been able to replicate it if I change themes either while in BigBox settings or using per platform theme changes while in a platform view. If I change a couple of system themes then go into the BigBox menu I usually get stuck. The frequency of getting stuck varies.

Next up is Nintendo 64. However, it is still in the design phase. Here is a sneak peak.

Top notch again @faeran Very excited to watch these system themes get developed.

  3. @Lordmonkus is correct. In order to get Rocketlauncher to work with Launchbox you still have to set up all your games and settings directly in Rocketlauncher first if you have not already done so. Than once complete there you can bulk edit the rom path in Launchbox for the games to Rocketlauncher it will then launch with Rocketlauncher as the emulator.

  4. @faeran I did try that and it keeps the original image. I copied and named exactly as you listed. Edited the .png in the new SNES MSU1 theme. In BigBox it sees CoverBox - SNES MSU1 and I can choose it and it runs, but it shows the original background .png. What is odd is if I remove the CoverBox - SNES (not the SNES MSU1 I made) theme completely when I open BigBox the CoverBox - SNES MSU1 theme works but it has no background image. So it is as if the new theme is searching for the original theme folder to find the background image.

  5. @faeran  Is there an easy way for me to make a copy of SNES theme and use it for another system? I have SNES MSU1 as a platform. It looks like I can easily edit the background .png to add an MSU1 logo. Just not sure if it is as simple as making a copy of the SNES Cover theme and rename it to like SNES MSU1 Cover and edit the .png to get it to work as I want.

  6. Sorry, should have been more clear. If you make playlists for the genres than yes. The playlist name you can have it show a marquee. If you use the view filters from the BigBox menu to choose genre filter I do not believe there is a way to make that main genre filter screen show marquees for each genre.

One more question, is it possible to have an image while navigating Genres in BigBox?  I don't see any folders for that.  Thanks again.

You can have marquee images show up for platform categories, platforms, playlists and games. The marquee images for platforms and platform categories will go in the "banner" folder of \images\platforms\[platform name] and \images\platformcategory\[category name] folder structure. If you have playlists it will show the game's marquee as long as your games have marquee images. Same will happen if you use a filter view for a certain category of game or something like that.

Generally speaking they are already named correctly on the site, I got the whole snes pack originally when I first started using Launchbox, and all the videos attached just fine.

Indeed, but figure I would mention it as I have occasionally downloaded some straight from the FTP and had to fix.

oh like i can only download them manually from the site? not through launch box?

Correct. You would have to make sure you name the video the same as the game as it is in Launchbox when you put them in your video folders. By using the feature through Launchbox with a premium Emumovies account LB will take care of that during download.
