  1. @kerszr may be add you idea to the bottom of this bitbucket request https://bitbucket.org/jasondavidcarr/gamesdb.launchbox-app.com/issues/46/enhancement-moderation-edit-data-while its a great idea! Dont forget to vote
  2. There was talk of moderators being able to edit submissions, then Just re submit them back into the moderation que. sStill then requiring a fresh three mods in either direction. Merge games could be a great submission to this system
  3. Just run the scraper agin for the platform, if you are running a beta version there is now a crc check on images and it wont try and re download the same images again, it will find the missing ones
  4. I am a reject the entry kind of guy, why should a game submitter make extra work for the mod team? If they cant be bothered to check if the game is there, i cant be bothered to clean up their mistakes
  5. @dita you can add images into lb and it will match them as long as thry have the same name as the game listed in lb, they go in the lb directory/images/systemname/box front/ the db is a work in progress, its being added ro all the time, hopefully one day in the future it will be more complete
  6. Twas not me, unless its completely inappropriate or un releated i reject witha reason like "who are we to decide the meaning of art"
  7. Easy one, go to tools, audit then sort by box front(scroll all the way over to the right) then shift click all the ones with zero showing and right click them and the seach for metadata tool will be there
  8. I am using nosh on this theme that comes with a great clear logo pre packaged.
  9. I run my playlists as a platform in Bigbox along side Arcade, Computers, Consoles, Handhelds and Rom Hacks Does anyone have a generalised platform video for "Playlists" or even know of a random theme video that takes inspiration from a number of games and different platforms that I may be able to use?
  10. linky https://bitbucket.org/jasondavidcarr/launchbox/issues/3147/the-mass-edit-wizard-should-have-an-option
  11. Dont think such a feature exisits, but i would like to see it and i would vote for it if you create a feature request on the bit bucket!
  12. Weird, some emulators need to be run seperate from lb the first time to create their .dlls and .ini files. Dont think re installing lb would help. Thats an error code from the emulator. Try reinstalling the emu as sentaibrad suggested and also check that the emulator is setup correctly in lb.
  13. sounds really good! don't really think that 3 resets would be really needed. If someone is going to go to the time to change and add details I cant imagine they will get it to wrong. You can always rejected it latter on anyway
  14. its been talked about a few times before Even if you were to make edits from the moderation cue those edits would then have to be re submitted anyway. Starting from the back of the que anyway You can edit those details when ever you want from the DB side of things, the main reason editing in the moderation que has been talked about before is for when you see a spelling error, or bad punctuation to make small fixes like that
  15. Hi Nosh Bloody good theme you have made! I know all your labels are different but would it be possible to get the psd or gimp file for a general purpose label that we can use for systems are not covered yet? Thought I would make a quick list of the ones I am missing for reference anyway... CONSOLES Philips Videopac+ Sega CD 32x Sega Pico Epoch Super Cassette Vision COMPUTERS MSX 2 + NEC PC-9801 Nec PC-8801 Amstard CPC Apple II Apple IIgs BBC Microcomputer System Commodore 128 Commodore Vic-20 Commodore Plus 4 HANDHELDS Hartung Game Master GamePark GP323 and lots of odd playlists that the psd would be great for
  16. @mothergoose729 wondering what you decided after this thread? Are you going to give it ago or not bother?
  17. Not sure you would have them sync arcoss the two setups and keep different controller schemes. sounds like you may be better of jamming a cheap hard drive in your router (if it supports) as a nas to share across your house. At least it would still work if your internet goes down. but if you want different controller setups you may just need to keep a seperate copy on the arcade cab at the min. You can keep LB completly portable by having your emulators and roms all contained within the LB install folder. Its just copy and paste then
  18. Check the assisosiated platform tab like i mentioned before, and link your platform to an emulator . got to appear to be doing some work now, watch the tutorial video again and if you have other questions i will be back on later
  19. long vido and mostly showing off bigbox but skip threw to where he loads a game
  20. That fil that you downloaded, your screen shots are a bit out of focus but something like "mame165.0b.exe" that you are currently linked to its the installer. Go amd find it in windows explorer and run it. it is the setup
  21. No probs, watching the tutorial video would probaly get you threw this. But i will continue. No need to be sorry Step one - have you run the installer? And changed the appliaction path to where ever mame is intalled to. Its "mame.exe" step two - it shouldnt be blank, in the first row first coloum type arcade, on the same row tick the box
  22. Two things, that file you are pointing to is the installer, not the installed program then in the assosiated platform tab at the top there should be a line there with the platform name, lb defaults to "arcade" and tick the box that says delfault system( or whatever the label is on the right
  23. It wouldn really matter, as dropbox just creates a folder on your drive and syncs it to the server when changes occur. it personal preference really
  24. Usually their website stays up, but the api goes down. Seeing the website is not a good indicator that its working. trying logging on to the ftp, it is a better indicTor whether the server is up
  25. No, you should run the installer for mame, then create an emulator in that list and link it to the mame.exe file in the install folder. then once you have that listed , right click the game again and go to the emulation tab and point it towards the mame emulator you just setup. should be good to go after that
