Hello all, After 10.3& 10.4 games no longer work in BigBox but work in Launchbox, im not sure what happened but in BB, as soon as i choose an emulator, BB crashes but if i open LB and choose emu, then game, the game loads. Any ideas?? Debug 2019-10-01 07-15-31 PM.log

Thanks DOS76!, i ran the reinstall and everything is back up and running. and to Jason Carr, i was getting it during startup for both LB and BB.

Wow!!! I am floored by your bezels! I truly hope i am not too late in saying i hope you pick this project back up and add more systems like Wii U, Naomi, etc. Again, amazing work!

Mame was running fine with Rocketlauncher a few days ago and now i get this error and i cannot open any games. Every other system works except MAME. I also posted on the Rocketlauncher forums but didn't receive much help. I have done everything from changing permissions to using different versions of MAME and the same error occurs. I was also told to check the properties of MAME and found that the read-only tab was checked. I can uncheck it but once i exit out and go back in, read-only is checked again. I am at my wits end with this. I primarily use RocketLauncher for Bezels that i can apply to my games. If there is a way to bypass Rocketlauncher and still use bezels for my games/systems etc. Please let me know! (and please, no RetroArch!, it will NOT scan my mame roms!) Thanks and any help would be greatly appreciated!

It has been built into a front end which is called "RomFlix" i was just hoping it could be done with BB because it would be the Front End to end all front ends.

I am not sure if this has been asked but how about a rom downloader option?, sorry if this has been asked already.

Thank you all for your responses and suggestions. My bezels and fades work perfectly in Rocketlauncher and Attract Mode but for some reason they don't show in BB. I will keep trying but in the meantime i will stick with Attract Mode.

Hello everyone, I am having a problem with some emulators running the fade screens and bezels. I have checked my settings in both but for some reason, BB does not show all the fades/bezels for system and games etc...any ideas?

So i have finally managed to get some roms running ok and others coming up with various errors like the ones i've mentioned previously. Some roms will load up and then disappear after the now loading screen, others will give the error implying libretro issues or a final burn xml issue. How does different roms have different issues in Launchbox but have no issues in Attract Mode?

Where do find out what system name i imported under? i was not aware that was an option.

This is the error i get when i launch roms in RocketLauncher now.

accidentally deleted the emulators and when i add them back, i get the emulator specified for the game no longer exist. Please edit the game choose and existing emulator. 1 step forward 2 steps back.

Yeah it's got to be something in RocketLauncher because when i switch to Hyperspin or Attract mode within RocketLauncher, everything works flawlessly.

Made command line blank and now roms act like they are going to load and then go back to big box menu. Progress is good!

Here is my Mame setup

All roms work in Mame (standalone) and Rocketlauncher when i switch front ends to Hyperspin, Attract mode etc.... I am definitely sure im missing some steps because i have changed emulators from mame to rocketlauncher i am still getting the same errors. Also, I am not using RetroArch and i have followed various setup vids with no success.
