I am getting this if I try to edit any system using a mapped drive for rom storage: I ran across it first when I was trying to use the Clean Up Media, it does the same thing, but a pop-up for every game. When you hit OK on any of the pop-ups, it crashes LB Specs: Win-10 (1903) LB v10.2 beta 7 I installed 10.1 in another location, scanned in a couple systems using the same roms and it is fine... The games are still launching though

I am thinking of downsizing my Mame collection when I update it to current version. If I run scan for Removed roms and it does its thing, will it also remove all the images, manuals, music and videos as well? (I am hoping it will) If not, it would be a nice feature to add to th scan for removed roms. I hate running Clean up Media, it cripples my 8086k with 32gb and takes hour to run. Likewise if I just remove the Arcade system in LB and set it up again, it will take hours to download everything again, stuff that I currently already have.

This is AMAZING, especially along with the videos. I do have a question about making a personal mod to it. I have created a custom field in LB I call "Gamepad Supported". I use it I would like to add it to the Wheel2GamesView.xaml view kinda centered under the age players. Is it something I can easily do? I have never tinkered with any themes before.

I have wanted this for a VERY long time. IE, add a field for games that have controller support, so you can narrow games down if you wanted a couch game day without a keyboard and mouse

I love LB/BB! And when the android app thing was talked about, I voted for it to happen, then I voted again a year later, etc., Got excited when it finally did. So I was there (donated) the 1st day it was there on android. I have it installed on a few devices (tablets, shields, etc), But for me, it has been pretty much USELESS. Doesn't mean it is for everyone. I have a VERY large collection, (7+ TB, as I already posted to Jason about NAS and he said: "The issue with using a NAS is that you'd have to be local to the NAS, or have some kind of a public-facing web server hosting all the stuff. Plex does it well but it's very complicated. It's possible that we might support something like this eventually, but it's a fairly long ways off. The initial goal for the app is just to make everything work locally, and with the size and cost of SD cards these days, I don't see that as too much of a hindrance." ). I reckon this scares me a bit, as "but it's a fairly long ways off", this usually means it sure ain't gonna happen any time soon or ever. The export feature is truly genius, saves so much time as far as artwork, (scraping, downloading) especially if you have spent days working on artwork, to simply move it to a android front-end. But if I am going to take up my storage space for Duplicate files that I already have on my network (roms) on a android device, might as well stick with ARC and Moonlight, ya know???? Don't get me wrong, If I want to add a few 100 VERY old games to a cell phone or tablet, this is a perfect way to do it. Not gonna happen when you get into 1-2gb PS1 games though. There needs to be a LAN option or something as far as where the roms are stored. JMO...

I just wanted to give a little input on the LB for Android. I have been rooting for this for a year or 2 now as I love my LB/BB and am thrilled to see it happening! From what I have learned so far, I think the export from a PC feature is genius! I love that it copies of my artwork, as I have done much customization to it for speed rather than scraping again. I am extremely curious how well or even if the new LB app is going to play well with SMB shares / NAS's, etc. If you have TB's of games as I do, it is essential to not have multiple copies every where, but be able to have to stored in one place and all the devices be able to access them from the single location. I am able to do that now using my current front-end on my android devices. Anyone have any info on this?

Been a user of LB and Emu for a long time. I have decided to take on a project of resizing most all of my images that the 2 of them have downloaded. The ones I am concentrating on right now are the box fronts (not 3d). Does anyone know of where I can find the approx. size or dimensions of the boxes for each platform so they look more realistic in LB. Some are rectangular, some might be more of a square. LB does a decent job of sizing, but I am converting and cleaning as well to see if I can save a little disk space and mainly increase load LB/BB load time for a very large collection

Thanks, will give it a try

Is it possible to run multiple instance of LB on same PC on the same hdd, I have a very large library (15,000) with most of the bells and whistles and it crawls when starting up now. I was thinking about trying to split it up into 2, is this possible? Windows 10 32GB ram 8TB HDD with 32GB Optane I8086k @5 Ghz I have tried most of tweaking tips I can find here, but really not any improvement,

@Jason: I can't say for sure if they worked before this beta version. I have tried different combos of the buttons to see if that was it, no difference. Like I said, only the pause works with Cemu & Yuzu currently. I have found a temporary work around for the black screen with these two emulators: Just let the game load for a few seconds, then use the pause automation and unpause, it will bring the game to the front. (not using Mame, I use RA for my mame stuff)

I have looked into the suggestions from the URL, tried re-installing, disable antivirus, ran the SFC utility, all the device drivers and BIOS are up to date on a large modern system (8086k cpu, 1080ti gpu, 32gb ram, 8TB hdd, z390 Tiachi mb, so I don't think any of this is it.) It works fine if I eliminate LB from the launching process. Got me stumped.

When I try to start Far Cry 5 it get the following error: "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000018) Click OK to close the application." I have tried porting it to the exe file as well as creating a shorcut and pointing to that. It works perfectly fine without LB. I have checked it with the currect beta version and also tried going back to v9.7. Any one else having this issue or any have any ideas???

Just want to add that Cxbx and Xenia are both WORKING correct for me.

Hey Jason, I updated to beta 6 and the pause screens are working for me in all the emulators I mentioned above. I am still having the same issues with the games starting in background leaving the black screen with Cemu and Yuzu (having to Alt/Tab). but none of the other automation buttons are working with these two emulators as you stated your just working with the showing and closing the pause screens. RA is working fine for me, 1.76 (I am using it for mame, so not sure about actual MAME emulator) All automations are working for me in Dolhpin (using dev versions). Hope this helps

Just wanted to add more info, things I have tried: I am having the same black screen issue when using the following emulators with Game Startup Screens enable, if I disable them for the individual emulators, all is fine: (The games are starting and can get to them with ALT/TAB, even when you close emulator from there, it returns to Game Exit screen/LB/BB) Cemu Yuzu I tried putting the LBThemes back to default, then the StarupThemes back to default but didn't help. Something else I have noticed with these 2 emulators is that the Automation buttons are not even recognized, like to exit a screen, volume or pause, nothing. I am using all the latest portable versions of Cemu, Yuzu (canary), Dolphin (dev/nightly), PCSX2 v1.5dev, and current Retroarch. In all other games/emulators I have tried, all functions great, including the new PAUSE feature. My system specs are: Z390 Taichi with 8086k (oc @ 5.1), 32gb ram, 8TB WD HDD using 32gb optane modeule, Xbox 360, generic Xbox 360, PS4 controllers. For testing, maybe I will disable that, just to eliminate. (I have had rare caching issues with it in the past) Hope it helps UPDATE: Optane module was not issue, worth a shot.

I am running Cemu 1.15.4b as well. It's when I run Cemu in full screen using the "-f -g" paramaters in the Default Command Line Parameters. It is working fine if I go back one beta version in LB. So far this is the only issue I am having

Members 4 45 posts Report post Posted 13 hours ago Game Startup Screen Broken now with Cemu Just updated to v9.8 beta 5. Now when I run a game using Cemu in full screen, all I get is a black screen. I turn off the Game Startup Screen and all works fine again. I have 2 PC's and the one that I did not update is still working fine. Still testing other emulators

Sorry 'bout that, that I did. Can you move it?

@CDBlue: Well, I have had some success with this. I was able to get it to work with Cemu, but rather than using the actual IP, I had to use the network location that Win 10 is assigning to the NAS drive, rather than using the mapped drive. As far as PCSX2, only way I can get it to work correct is the roms and emulator have to both be on the same, whether it be local on the pc or both being on the NAS. Will keep tinkering, but I think that is about as good as I'm going to get it. I have yet to test it one a 2nd pc yet.

Thanks DOS76, When I "added roms for PS2" it was using the cue file, changed to bin and that fixed it, I want to look into what CDBlue said next, that might be a better solution if it works for me, the way I am doing it now, I have mutiple copies of the emulators on the NAS, one for each PC, rather have them on the local pc that is using it...

I have ran into a strange issue with LB/BB v9.8.4beta. It has done this in all versions of 9.8. I am using PCSX2 for my PS2 emulation. I have my roms stored on a NAS. I have the NAS drive mapped as a drive in the Windows 10 machines. I had/have my emulators and LB (portable versions) on internal drives on each PC. (I need the roms on the NAS because they are shared with 3 pc's and 3 Shields. I prefer to keep all the apps on the individual devices so they easily each have their own saved games data, etc... Okay PCSX2 and Cemu will not allow me to browse to the mapped drive for some reason, they both show it red x'ed out in Win10, so for testing, I made a copy of both the emulators and moved them to the NAS drive, changed it in LB to point to the copies on the NAS drive and they both work just fine.....almost. Here is the strange part, PCSX2 plays every game I tested that uses a "iso" file fine, but if the game is a using a bin & cue file, it will take me to the loading screen, back to desktop, black screen (like it is starting), then back to desktop. However, it will run fine if I eliminate running it via LB and run it from straight from the emulator?? BTW- Same using LB or BB Any ideas anyone???

Good deal, thank you Sir

Just an idea or thought. When we download a new version of beta, it would be cool if the "Welcome Screen" that pops up after the install, would show us something about what was implemented, changed, added, deleted or any type of clue what to test for and check.....
