Lordmonkus Posted September 14, 2016 Author Posted September 14, 2016 Turn off integer scaling and it should fill top to bottom. Quote
Lordmonkus Posted September 14, 2016 Author Posted September 14, 2016 Hmm, it should but then again I always set the integer scaling to on since I use scanline shaders so I never really tested it. Quote
Zombeaver Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Yeah I never have integer scaling on in the first place. My problem was specific to this one core. That's why I ended up just creating my own viewport settings. Quote
ckp Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 turning off integer scaling did the trick for me! Quote
Zombeaver Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 What's your monitor resolution, out of curiosity? Quote
Zombeaver Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Interesting. Mine is 1080p as well. I guess I'll have to double check my settings, it's possible I turned it on by accident. Ordinarily I have it integer scaling off for everything. I really don't think it's on but you never know. Glad it's working correctly for you, in any case. Quote
ckp Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 is there a really easy way to cycle through lots of shaders in RA to find one you like? or do you have to hit f1, navigate the menu levels, pick shader, apply it, resume. repeat and rinse. Quote
Lordmonkus Posted September 14, 2016 Author Posted September 14, 2016 Not really. You can save out a preset when you find one you like and it gets saved as a preset file in the \shaders folder (before you get into the CGP and GLSL folders) and those you can cycle through with a hotkey. I think it's M or something, you can look in the hotkey bindings to find out for sure. Quote
Zombeaver Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 I double checked, by the way, and integer scaling is off as I thought. Like I said, this issue is specific to this core for me. The custom settings I created turn it from this: To this (but zoomed in accordingly, so it stretches to the top and bottom of the screen): Settings (presumably these could only be used for 1080p): Quote
DOS76 Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 If you go into the shader folders and grab the presets you like you can copy them outside of the folders in bulk or individually instead of using the save part in the UI for the shaders. Quote
Zombeaver Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 0.9.39.2 has been released. It adds in PAL support. http://forum.fobby.net/index.php?t=msg&th=1354&start=0& 3 Quote
Zombeaver Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 One other interesting thing I noticed is that it would seem that it's using the same BIOS as North America for the PAL games based on the documentation. I was looking for the file name that it wanted for the PAL BIOS but in their description for it mpr-17933.bin (the one that we're already using for North America) it says "Required for North America/US-region and Europe-region games". I guess this isn't so crazy given that PAL games already worked with Mednafen when region-patched to read as North America. http://mednafen.fobby.net/documentation/ss.html Quote
Lordmonkus Posted September 20, 2016 Author Posted September 20, 2016 Cool that PAL support is now in. Quote
Lordmonkus Posted September 8, 2017 Author Posted September 8, 2017 It's a Christmas miracle come early, the Retroarch Mednafen Saturn core now has working analog controller support. I have no idea when they added this in because I stopped checking it every week a while back but I decided to check it tonight and low and behold we have analog support. 2 1 Quote
DOS76 Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 so does this have to be manually configured for those games or will it just work when you play them. Quote
Zombeaver Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 I won't be able to test it until tonight, but presumably you'd want to set/save it for individual games that support it. That's how I did all my PSX overrides for Dual Shock vs Dual Analog vs Digital Pad. You'll want to set "Analog to digital type = " to none for those games otherwise you'll still be sending d-pad inputs. This is a list of games that support it: http://segaretro.org/3D_Control_Pad#List_of_supported_games Quote
