What Kind of music do you listen?

I'm predominantly a metalhead but I do listen to some other stuff when the mood strikes like some classical, rap and techno style music. Stuff I won't listen to though is country and pop, basically if it's on the radio or TV I won't ever hear it. But then again I don't watch regular TV anymore outside of baseball and hockey and if I am in the car I got my iPod loaded up with metal.

What's this? A potential admirer of synthwave? I actually have pretty broad taste in music, but that's one area of particular interest to me.

I don't listen to much metal anymore. I do like some Djent on occasion and in limited doses.

I do like some progressive stuff like TOOL, Karnivool, that sort of thing.

I used to listen to stuff like Symphony X and Ayreon when I was younger but kinda grew out of it post-highschool and now I find a lot of that stuff a bit cringey haha.

Lol, ive never grown out of it. Bands like Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and Twisted Sister got me hooked in at an early age back in the early 80s and I am still going strong with it Like any kind of music you have the garbage and the quality.

Have you ever listed to any Bigelf? I love those guys. You mentioned some 70's stuff so you might dig them. They sound like they'd be right at home with Ozzy era Black Sabbath haha.

I'll check em out. I do love me some Black Sabbath and that 70s vibe stoner metal.

I actually like "Stoner" rock a lot more than traditional metal, as much as I hate that moniker haha. I really like that stuff. Truckfighters and Kamchatka are some of my favorites.

love 50's and 60's progressive jazz. Love Davis and Coltrane, but honestly, they're too cliche. Dexter Gordon, Lee Morgan is where my heart is at.

beyond that, I adore the Smiths, Smashing Pumpkins, and can't get enough ATCQ. My tastes are all over the map. When the mood is right, love popping in some Rollins Band, Minor Threat, RATM, Tool and Pantera.
