SentaiBrad Posted February 20, 2017 Posted February 20, 2017 You only need to change the Platform folder names for media, not the file names them selves, or anything else really. The media will automatically re-attach. You only need to change the associated platforms page as well, if you have command lines in there that need to be attached to a name, so MESS and RetroArch. Otherwise, if you're just running the emulator, you technically don't even need to do that, all the games stay associated to the emulator they were using before.
gamble007 Posted February 20, 2017 Posted February 20, 2017 Got it...I've edited my list above to reflect your notes. I did notice though that if I didn't change the platform video filenames to match the new platform names, they wouldn't play in BigBox.

mccronesoap Posted March 19, 2017 Posted March 19, 2017 As i use rocketlauncher for the fade screen and bezels this option wouldnt work for me... as changing the system name would then fail to launch the programme is there anyother way of getting around it in the xml settings?
