Thank you very much for your support. ❤️

When I tried to run it in the console, it gave me the following output:

It was not possible to find any compatible framework version
The framework 'Microsoft.NETCore.App', version '9.0.0' was not found.
  - The following frameworks were found:
      3.1.32 at [C:\Program Files\dotnet\shared\Microsoft.NETCore.App]

You can resolve the problem by installing the specified framework and/or SDK.

The specified framework can be found at:

I followed the link and downloaded it. Now my console output looks like yours and ArchiveManager works for me as well.

Finally I have a working plugin for me : I can choose a game from a multi-game archive and the cache is used when needeed. I have changed the version of the plugin to 2.17

archive-cache-manager.v2.17.zip 176.01 MB · 11 downloads events-2025-03-28.log 15.03 kB · 3 downloads

This is amazing.  I'm going to upgrade my LaunchBox and try it out.  I'll also share this post in the request I made (https://feedback.launchbox.gg/p/feature-request-to-have-launchbox-cache-my-games-from-nas).  Hopefully we can get this functionality added natively to LaunchBox soon.

Hello,
When in Big Box mode, your plugin throw a 7-zip error while trying to extract archive. Do you know if there's something to do to solve this problem ?

EDIT : Nevermind, problem solved ! Just the same problem as AZUR3US, i just had to install dotnet 9 from microsoft site...

Hello!

I found a problem with Archive Cache Manager. Tested with 2.16 and 2.17

I have several redump roms, for example for 7th Guest, with "Disc 1" in the name. These roms are not Multi-disc.
7th Guest, The (Europe) (Disc 1) (The Game) (EDC).zip
7th Guest, The (Europe) (Disc 1) (The Game).zip
7th Guest, The (France) (Disc 1) (Le Jeu) (Rev 1).zip
7th Guest, The (France) (Disc 1) (Le Jeu).zip
7th Guest, The (Germany) (Disc 1) (Das Spiel) (Rev 1).zip
7th Guest, The (Germany) (Disc 1) (Das Spiel).zip
7th Guest, The (USA) (Beta) (1994-02-04).zip
7th Guest, The (USA) (Disc 1) (The Game).zip

If I launch any game version with Disc 1 in the name I get error "7-Zip returned an error when trying to extract the archive."
Archive Cache Manager always tries to unzip rom - 7'th Guest, The (Germany) (Disc 1) (Das Spiel) (Rev 1).zip

Log after launch 7th Guest, The (USA) (Disc 1) (The Game) version, for example.

And without plugin roms run successfully.

Is it possible to fix this without renaming the roms?
