tbm Posted January 13, 2018 Posted January 13, 2018 I have no clue where else to put this, so I'm putting it here for anyone moderating the database. So I uploaded a promotional image for Tekken 2, and it was rejected because the moderators insisted it was gameplay, however, anyone who played the game would know it's definitely not. It's not technically a flyer, but it is promotional material, so advertisement flyer is the closest category. It's not fanart, it's not gameplay. It's official promotional material. I re uploaded it, so hopefully it gets approved this time. Quote
Chris Kant Posted January 13, 2018 Posted January 13, 2018 Put this image as well here... to prevent maximum mistakes or misunderstanding Quote
neil9000 Posted January 13, 2018 Posted January 13, 2018 I have moved this thread to the Games Database/Troubleshooting section. Quote

xevious1974 Posted January 14, 2018 Posted January 14, 2018 I personally rejected this image 1 time. It's not game play, and I didnt find in tekken 2. Can you please post the source of this advertisement? Quote
tbm Posted January 18, 2018 Author Posted January 18, 2018 It got rejected again. I guess I just won't upload official artwork anymore. Quote
neil9000 Posted January 18, 2018 Posted January 18, 2018 I am not on the moderator board here, but what are you uploading it as?? Quote
neil9000 Posted January 18, 2018 Posted January 18, 2018 It looks to me like a dodgy rendered snap? it may be official, but it looks bad. Quote
damageinc86 Posted January 18, 2018 Posted January 18, 2018 (edited) It only looks bad as a product of its time. Is there anything accompanying it that might give some context? It may be official promotional material, but it Doesn't really show much. Edited January 18, 2018 by damageinc86 Quote
xevious1974 Posted January 18, 2018 Posted January 18, 2018 4 days ago I have made you a question "Can you please post the source of this advertisement?" You have not to take like a personal issue. If a moderator find an image that does not know he has to search on net. I have searched on tekken wiki and I am not able to find that image. I collect dozen magazines, retro - vintage and so on, and I dont remember that image. So, personally, I love official material, and I love an accurate DB. If you can help moderator with any source it'll get approved. You have to think that there are hundred images to be moderated, and there are too many check to do. I cant spend days searching that source. help moderator with a official source and I bet they/we'll be happy to accept that image. Quote
tbm Posted January 18, 2018 Author Posted January 18, 2018 I thought I posted where I got it from already. Anyway, it's from Tekken 7's legacy gallery. As I said, it isn't a flyer, but that's the only category that makes any sense. There's no category for rendered game art. Quote
DOS76 Posted January 19, 2018 Posted January 19, 2018 Even though it is official and not fan art I think that that is the most likely place to add it and get it approved unless you want to make a bitbucket request to the LBDB bitbucket and request new categories be added to the DB to cover this type of media asset.
