ALIE
An example 1869_v1.2 when impoted it shows the full name numbers and underscore. manually adding (Brackets ) for thousands of games or renaming everything in launchbox seems overwhelming. Napalm2016
I simply got a bulk renamer utility and you can set anything after the _ and rename the roms you can remove and import to launchbox and work like a charm the images will then download for the games that's the way I did it I know there is ways to do it on FS UAE but for me this worked so stuck with it
ALIE
Yah I actually just did a similar thing. I used a bulk editor to place ( instead of the first _ and ) at the end of the file name. Napalm2016
Yup worked for me I use winuae rather than FS-UAE no preference over either just the solution that worked for me although maybe the FSUAE has the huge database so might be better in the long run
ALIE
I use FS-UAE because it was the one that had great noob friendly guides. By @pipes78 And @Zombeaver
Zombeaver
It won't show the symbols and numbers if you import the way I show in my video tutorial. You don't need to rename anything. Just watch and follow through video, it covers everything.

Might revisit later when I have time to dice into it. But for now I have it working renaming them didn't take more then a minute so it's fine for now ?.. neil9000
Ah, thinking about it i have mine in portable mode, so its likely that by default it saves files elsewhere, possibly documents or your %appdata% folder.

Its simply a empty text file renamed to portable.ini. portable.ini
