Feature request: Set Launchbox as Homescreen

I think this would be a great optional feature for people who use their android device primarily for games. It would allow people to be able able to jump into the Launchbox menu right after starting or unlocking the screen.

Pretty sure this was already done and had to be removed because the functionality breaks certain Android setups.

I hate to be THAT guy but please don't make Launchbox android a home launcher... I tested a bunch of frontends (basically all of the ones available on Android) and I bought and settled on Launchbox not only for its filters abilities but mainly for the fact that it wasn't a home launcher and that because of that it was compatible with Samsung Dex (Samsung Dex is used to output video to a TV, a huge feature for emulation). Samsung dex is a launcher on its own and is entirely incompatible with any app that serves as a launcher. Quite a few android frontends are incompatible with it because of it and it sucks a lot for Samsung users. Please keep Launchbox not as a home launcher in the future so it keeps being compatible with Dex. Sorry about this post OP but that feature would completely break Launchbox for me.

To the OP or anyone interested in that feature, there are some apps on the playstore that do not require root and can open any app you select as soon as the phone or tablet is booted. It's not entirely the same as being a home launcher but it's halfway there.

I wanna opt in for this suggestin really badly, but it seems that i get rejected at login? I have lastpass, and it works fine for forum, main page and games db. But the login for this suggestion list does not work?

The login for the feature request portal is the same as the one you use for the LaunchBox games database. When you choose to log in, it should redirect you to the games database to log in. 

Please make sure the account and password you're using are the same that you use to log in to the games database, and verify that you can log in over there.

If that still doesn't work, let us know

Yes, it is handled by my lastpass, and it has only one launchbox entry. It works for forum, main page and games db, but not the feature request portal. Now i tried logging in manually with the same password, and i am not allowed entrance Tried manual login on forum with same password and i am logged in immediately. 

Maybe something is afoot  I so hard want to vote for feature requests

Feel free to DM me, so we can keep this thread on topic, however please note that accounts for the LaunchBox Forum, and the LaunchBox Games Database (which is also used to log into the feature request portal) are completely different.

Unless you use the same username and password for both, please make sure you've actually got an account on the games database by going to https://gamesdb.launchbox-app.com/

DM me if that doesn't work and we'll troubleshoot further
