About This File

Not every platform category\playlist will utilize every logo depending on your build.

I have used the same naming system thats used in the Unified Theme. So I would suggest verifying the playlist/platform names before dropping them into your images folder... as some may differ from user to user and wrongly named files will not show up in BigBox.

If you do have different platform names you can use Bulk Rename Utility to rename them quick and easy.

How to add them to LaunchBox.

Instructions:

  • Drag and drop the Platform Categories and the Playlists folders into the Launchbox Images folder.
  • Launch BigBox and go into -> Options -> Image Cache and Refresh Platform Wheel Images.

Here's links to all the fonts and .psd templates i used to make these for anyone who wants to create their own missing playlist logos.

Only thing that could make it better is if they were in the folder structure already, so it could be a drag n' drop scenario.  Having to move them over one at a time can get a bit tedious.

@Lugawigaming I do plan on updating systems that are missing when i get the time or do you mean there are logos missing from one of the systems.

Nah just missing genres like (ex: Tile-Matching, Vertically Scrolling Shooter, Maze, Fixed Shooter, etc). It would be useful if launchbox would provide a huge list of all the genres that exists. Not that i'm complaining.

Love the clear logos. Great job! Quick question. Could you let me know what font you used for the Nintendo 64 logos? I'd like to make a "Recent" white logo.

Just trying to re-download some of these because I lost the original zips, and Super Nintendo fails every time.  Could you re-upload that one? EDIT:  nevermind, guess it was just a website error.  It's working again.

Hey mate, great work. I want it all! Though I don't want to have to go through the manual process of downloading each link 122 times... Do you have a single .zip for them all?

Could you post what font you used for the WiiWare logos ? Theres a few things I'd like to add myself. Thanks, love this set btw.

WiiWare has some different genres than most of my platforms.  I'd like to know what font that was as well.  In fact, a master list of all fonts used would be really nice to have so we can make our own for the occasional one that isn't here already.

Happy new year @RetroNi! I recently played around with the playlists feature in my setup and I must say that your clear logos are truly awesome. They make the experience with nested playlists really better in Big Box. :)

Unfortunately, some logos are missing for a handful of new playlists that I’ve created. In LaunchBox version 11.3 (released last August) were new metadata fields added inside LaunchBox. Especially the Release Type field is really useful for me. I wanted to ask you if it would be possible to create playlist logos for this new field as well?
The needed logos in question would be:

  • DLC
  • Homebrew
  • Released
  • ROM Hack
  • Unlicensed
  • Unreleased

Additional to that I’d also like to request a logo for my own personal setup:

  • Demos

I’d also want to point out that your logos only cover the years up to 2019. Maybe it would be better to also provide logos for future years, so that you don’t need to make yearly updates for them?

Anyways, thanks for your time and your already great set!

Greetings Cid

Thanks @CriticalCid, i was meaning to update this set at some stage but it had slipped my mind. Now that ive been reminded Im gonna make a start updating them with the new fields and extend the years to 2030, could take a while hopefully not too long. I have also updated my post to include a link to the fonts i used for anyone who wants to create their own missing playlists, thanks to @damageinc86 for asking me to find and gather the fonts from a backup drive.

Yes! @RetroNi came through on all the fonts.  I was able to finish all my BannerBox Genre Banners with them finally.  Thank you so much!  This is probably one of the most definitive collection of fonts, so great job on that.

Nice collection. Could you please add the following clear logos to all platforms? "Original Games", "Translated Games", "Games with CD Soundtrack". Will try to create the fonts myself with your link. Where would you recommend to start?  Nice tutorial somewhere?

Really nice set! Thanks! I am befuddled as to why there isn't a single file with all the platforms, it's not like the files are remotely large, it's taking forever to download each system!

Hi,

Wondeful set! Just what I've been looking for! I don't have access to the .PSD templates on the google drive, would it be possible for a new link to all the systems please? I have a few custom ones and ones like 'Translations' I need, also there are a lot of genres I'd like to make my own, like 'Wrestling' and a few others to break up my collections more.

Many thanks
