  1. Hey everyone, wanted to see if anyone can help me out on this. I'm trying to get Cxbx-Reloaded to go fullscreen with AHK. However, somewhere along the way Cxbx changed it so that the window title is "Cxbx-Reloaded (Date)" for each version. Is there a way to change the script so that I can still use it even with newer versions? (Besides just copy/pasting the version name into the window title)
  2. Hey Jason, thanks for the walkthrough. You were right; one of my playlist XML's were corrupted; deleted it and now all is well. Thanks!
  3. Hey @Jason Carr, and other LB vets, I have a specific question. To make a long story short, in the process of building a new PC and migrating an HD with LB on it, the HD got reformatted and I had to use a recovery software program to restore all the files. Now all the files all look to be there, but when I try to start LB on the drive, I see the initializing screen for a second, and then LB closes. Is there a log or anything that would be helpful to share that can pinpoint the problem? I tried reinstalling version 9.0 again as well, and did not have any success. Thanks in advance
  4. Hey @Jason Carr, was there some way to update full MAME sets as new versions come out? Do we just run the wizard again each time?
  5. The games in my playlists are also out of order as well
  6. Hey everyone, Could someone give me some insight as to how the MAME playlists autogenerated by the full set importer are organizing the playlists? They don't seem to be in alphabetical order, and even when I change them to sort by title they are still in a very random order. Maybe I did something wrong when creating the playlists? Thanks in advance
  7. Thank you guys for the help. My next question is: how do I create a list on the main menu where I have the systems organized into console, arcade, computer, etc?
  8. Hey everyone, I've been using LB for a few months now and I really enjoy it. I'm still trying to nail down exactly how playlists and platforms work. What I would like to have is my current setup, which is general platforms (ie Arcade, N64, SNES etc.) all on the main menu when I open BB. However, once I pick a selection, such as Arcade, what I'd like to have is different lists such as "Capcom games", "Midway games", etc., along with a list for "All Games". How exactly do I set these lists up within a platform/console? Thanks in advance
  9. The best versions are the laserdisc ones, which can be run through Daphne Singe. When I had Hyperspin I had them set up, I haven't attempted to get them working with LB yet.
  10. Well my LB updated to beta 5 and now it's working. No idea what changed. I'm not getting the error anymore.
  11. Sounds good, thanks Jason. If it's helpful at all I'm using stand-alone MAME as my emulator, and still getting the "Rom does not exist" error.
  12. I'm still not understanding this exactly; how do I change the rom path for my MAME roms? I don't see anything in that file mentioned above. Is there any reason the importer doesn't ask for the location?
  13. Hey everyone, Recently I discovered the "Clean Up Images" option and used it for the first time. Everything went smoothly. Now, I tried to use it yesterday, and it got stuck at a specific spot ("Found 41042 non-duplicate images...") and just seems to hang there. Had to close launchbox with task manager to get it to stop. I tried it again today, and it's stuck at the exact same spot. Is there any log or some way I can help shed light on this problem? Thanks
  14. Hey Launchbox community. So I've got a bit of a conundrum I'd like to present, and see if someone can help me out. I have a Blissbox 4-Play, and use Retroarch for a good portion of my systems; for this example we'll use Genesis and Sega Saturn. I have a Blissbox 4-Play with original controllers for both systems. Now, I plug in a Genesis controller, and load up a Genesis game. Retroarch is currently set to autoconfig enable. I get a message saying something along the lines of "4-Play GEN 6 configured in Port #0". I go into input mapping in Retroarch, and the inputs for the core (Genesis Plus GX) are what I would want for the Genesis controller. I exit the game back to BigBox. Now I can unplug the Genesis controller, plug in a Saturn controller, and load up a Saturn game using the mednafen_saturn core of retroarch. The input mapping is wrong, and I need to change it, even though Retroarch says "4-Play Saturn Digital configured in Port #0). I fix the inputs and exit. Now the cycle seems to repeat itself. I can load up Genesis through Retroarch, and the inputs are wrong again. What I cannot figure out is what the problem is; is it because I have autoconfig enabled? Is it because I need to change a setting in Retroarch to enable per-core input mapping? This one has stumped me, and I'm beginning to wonder if it's because of autoconfig. However the autoconfig files in my Retroarch folder seem to have the appropriate inputs for each specific controller, so I can't explain that. If anyone has any thoughts, I'd appreciate it. In an ideal world I'd like to be able to just switch controllers when I want to play a different system, load up the game and have the right inputs each time. I thought autoconfig would do that but I could be wrong. Of note, I used Rocketlauncher for years, and I believe it had an option for per-core settings; I would essentially just use this for each system and bypass this problem. However I wasn't using autoconfig at that time, and I was hoping that this option might make life easier if I could figure out how to use it correctly.
  15. Hey alec, unfortunately I'm also having an issue where the "Configure" option in Launchbox is greyed out for me. After doing some digging I realized that it is only happening when I use Launchbox.next, not the original one. I have downloaded the configurator plugin, extracted it and placed it in the plugin folder. The dll's don't require unblocking on my machine (there's no message asking to unblock). I have a recent build of PCSX2 (1.5); the Configure option is greyed out, and when I hit the keyboard shortcut it says "A configuration path was not specified". Do you have any idea what I might be missing? Thanks
