Archive Cache Manager
W4rCh1ld replied to fraganator's topic in Third-Party Applications and Plugins (Released)
Yes Mate, thanks for responding, its the lastest (non-beta) version of launchbox and the latest version of your Cache manager, from what i can tell is its failing to close 7zip? after its first use, as the logs say it is being used in another process. This tool sounds like its amazing for its use case btw. When the Cache manager is not installed, the unzipping function works fine, using the 3rd party 7zip built into launchbox, unzipping files back to back without ever giving a message, but what your application does of being able to choose the correct file in a zip and boot that is exactly what i was hoping to use it for which works very well. But then it gives me this glitch. -

So having spent way to much time trying to get this to work and to unzip more than one file before getting a a launch box 7zip failed message, from fresh launchbox builds, to replacing 7zip folders, unchecking and rechecking the extract file box... it seems there is nothing that makes it work for more than one extraction before braking and having to mess around to get it to work again. Is this still being maintained? as it looks like an update has broken something... can it be updated to fix this issue, or even better so that it can have its own full install of 7zip, much like CHDman etc and not reliant on the launchbox third party folder. Thanks. But for now i've simply deleted it as broken. -

Hi im having issues with this when it works its great, but atm it'll only unzip one file then the next game it'll pop up a launch box 7zip failed message. -
@Retro808 , Hey, thats cheating ?... but thanks, that worked. ? at least i asked in the noobs section. ?

@JoeViking245 Thanks for you help, but neither of these worked either, it's not a windows game, Kronos is a Sega Saturn Emulator - a Yabause fork (Links are on this Youtube), i have no idea why i cannot get a close command to work. If anybody has anymore ideas (or is willing to test it, for a solution that'd be cool).
-
@JoeViking245 Ok cool, that'll stop me having to double boot to check both locations, as the other said exit i though i may have got the wrong box, but as all the other exit scripts i have worked from the running i kinda figured that was the case. Yes when Kronos is running both on its own and via launchbox the manual Ctrl+Q work on the keyboard and close... as does the Alt + Enter to go fullscreen etc. I am using both keyboard and controller, alot of the ones i have working i then set to use a twin press of Start and Select to make an Esc keypress.

Hi JoeViking, thanks for the reply. Yeah i had tried that one (i think it was posted in this thread earlier saying it worked for Citra and that it was a Ctrl + Q close command, so i was chuffed when i came across it... but it doesnt work for Kronos stand alone. i have no idea why?) I have retried it as you have posted (incase i had made an error previously) in both the Running and Exit Autoscript boxes, still no luck

Hi could somebody help me with getting a close on Esc script to work with Kronos 2.1.3 Standalone, its set up to close on Ctrl + Q and ive been trying and failing to guess at the answer for a little while, ive tried the "Standard" close on Esc Script and seen some other scripts in this thread that looked close to what i needed and have tried to use / adapt them for what i need, with no luck. Could anybody provide me with the answer please?

Well Im keeping an eye on the progress of this while trying to decide if... going back to LB 11.2 where it worked fine, or going to the stand alone that works outside of launchbox is the better option, is there a guide on the in deveopment version as from what i can tell at a glance is that the PCSX2 folding is located inside the stand alone configuarator file, would be nice to see a set up video (Looking at you Unbroken Software or ETA prime... lol).
-
Hi, I hope this is still in maintaince mode until the release of the much anticipated stand alone version being fully ready for its debut, because as of the latest version of Launchbox as Mike above has said it doesnt show the configure selection and as far as im concerned has rendered PCSX2 redundant until this functionality is replaced (and i mean that with the utmost gratitude to its creator) without this configurator or its successor (or indeed "in-house" per game settings configuration provided by PCSX2 itself) PCSX2 is simply unusable as having to remember, test and re-test, and re-apply setting for every game as and when starting to play each title is beyond excruciating. Please release a hotfix until the new version is ready or if the new version is oh so almost ready let us now an eta. Thank you.

Neon Deluxe Arcade - Launchbox Theme
W4rCh1ld replied to Mr. RetroLust's topic in LaunchBox for Windows Custom Themes
You know what the main problem with having the best looking theme for Launchbox is? Everytime there is a new feature release... so any chance of an MAME leaderboard compatible update? -

Also Having now moved back onto this theme, i agree about the border / spacing looking nice as it is, in a defined format... as the wonky line spacing of an odd off size image wasnt very nice after a while and the text below is nice inside the border. -

Okay guys, thanks for the replys, i will keep a eyeout for a new release, i really like how the new box art looks too without the grey borders around the images in the new default so if a version of neon arcade with that feature too could be released id be very happy. Please. Thanks again for all the hard work your guys are doing. -
Neon Deluxe Arcade - Launchbox Theme
W4rCh1ld replied to Mr. RetroLust's topic in LaunchBox for Windows Custom Themes
Hi ive been using this fantasic theme for a good while now (as its nicer than the now "old" theme)... but there'in lies my question is this now going to get an update for the launchbox 10.8 release, as now the new box art without borders and the Retro Score button has pulled me back onto the new standard theme, but i miss the nice looks of the neon arcade, it is possible to simply update this theme to use these new features? Thanks. -
