I use both, mainly parallel core, but some games don't run so well in parallel core, so for those I use Mupen. Why I don't always use Mupen, I had better experience with the parallel core in general, but that might just be in my case though.

Duplicate files are skipped. There's a checkbox which says force importing duplicate files, thus not skipping any. What I do lately is using the move the files into my LB game folder, instead of copying them to the LB folder directly and import them with use the files in their current location. Like that way you can obviously see what is not imported as it just stays in the folder you used for importing.

Good to know, I'll wait then with the install until I can finally order my new PC, this AMD CPUs and probably GPUs seem not to be available yet this year. Wanted to go with Intel and an RTX3080, but on release that ship had sailed too. Glad though as it seems AMD made the race. But the waiting is the hardest part.

Launchbox has many own categories but probably not the ones you’re creating. So it obviously doesn’t know which game you want in which category, that’s the problem. Is there nothing for you in the existing categories what you could use?

Well I just overwrote the old files with the new, so nothing changed.

I installed .220 now and get an invalid BIOS error message when running the games. I can stick with my .210 version of MAME, but I don't have the whole set anymore, just my favorites. I usually update every 5th new release of MAME, thus deleting the old. That's why at the moment .220 is the set I have, and not anymore the .210 Can't remember where I got the nonag version from anymore, do you know the link? I use the MAMEUI version.

Yeah, just tested, lots of them don't run and give an error message. Problem is that I don't wanna use 3-4 different MAME versions. I have my favorite MAME set working fine in .210 and I don't wanna mess around with it.

Ok, I can tell you why it didn't work. I was trying only with the first game which is Ball Toss, gnw_ball.zip, and that game actually doesn't work at all, tried Parachute, that works fine.

Yes. Perhaps I need to try with dummy files, works for me for Philips CD-i.

Does Game & Watch need something extra to run with MAME like a certain BIOS file or command line? If I run it just like this from LB I get Unknown System error.

Never heard of that? If I search in the MAME database, I cannot locate those ROMs.

Well the torrent is actually 562, so you say that if it is installed, the size stays the same? I thought games would be installed individually, thus making it way bigger than 562GB?

Bigbox does not background itself when launching pcsx2 games.

I just tested it now, and mine works fine, pcsx2 opens in fullscreen. Could it be a setting in pcsx2, and not in BigBox? -
Just for information, eXoDOS release 5 is out and I wanted to ask if someone imported already the eXoDOS collection into LB and if it works fine?
