  1. Open RetroArch, navigate to online updater, then core downloader, and download your cores there. You can download PCSX Rearmed or even Duckstation if you prefer that one. I'm using mednafen_psx_hw_libretro which works fine. A reason I don't use Duckstation is that it doesn't support .pbp files (yet?), and all my games are in that format.
  2. Disks are fine, no problem with that. And of course I'm doing that, that's how I check anyways from time to time, mainly for clear logos as I'm using them to display. But yesterday morning Emumovies was very slow and took 1-2 minutes per game to scrap, that's what I meant that it takes long. And I'm quite pedantic when it comes to media, so I might spend one or the other minute more per game. Like I said, games entries were still present including metadata, gone was the media, images, video, music, pdf. I'm not using external scrapers for LaunchBox and platform xml files are fine. Here my LaunchBox disks, main (E:) and backup (G:).
  3. From time to time I check missing game media, to see if I forgot one or the other. Usually they're all done. Today when I checked, there were around 50 games missing media throughout several categories, and I just wondered how that happened? So I have now to spend hours again to redo them, which is very time consuming, considering they were already done. How is it possible that media goes missing, got deleted? I did not even run the cleanup media, so that's not the issue.
  4. I finally got mine today and I'm quite impressed with the quality. Will do some further installs now, then I'll test some PC gaming, emulation perhaps at a later time.
  5. Would be nice for handhelds though.
  6. I was just wondering why over the time the update program feature has not been built into RA itself straight away?
  7. I know some people don’t wanna do this, but open your xml file which includes the LB launch paths, then find all the .cso file extensions and change them to .chd
  8. How much is overpricing for you? You could go with a NUC, had a Hades Canyon before and that was handling LaunchBox quite well.
  9. Yuzu's recommended requirements are a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 4GB or AMD Radeon RX Vega 56 8GB. It needs an OpenGL 4.6 or Vulkan 1.1 capable GPU. Minimum requirements are an Intel HD Graphics 520 or Nvidia GeForce GT 1030. Recommended is also a CPU that has high single-core performance plus it requires a minimum of 8 GB of RAM.
  10. Is that not possible in Xenia emulator itself? I know that in RPCS3 you can custom configure your games, thus when LB launches them it uses that configuration.
  11. I think there's a button combination to hold on the 8Bitdo controllers to change them into DInput mode. Cannot remember exactly, but I always had the same problems with 2 of the same controllers. Windows seems to change the mode to whichever controller is switched on first, thus sometimes one is not working alone without having to switch also the 2nd one on.
  12. I noticed now that the "scrape as" is not checked at all, thus no Commodore Amiga. That's probably the problem. Why didn't I notice ? So will have to go through almost 75% of the games again, as I added already many, but only noticed some days ago that the games didn't scrape necessarily as Amiga games, doh! I did a second Amiga category just for ADF games, the other one is WHDLoad. Thanks for your reply, my mistake, but sometimes you need also help for the most obvious stuff. I feel like calling TV support only to find out that the TV is not plugged in ?
  13. I did a new 2nd Amiga category and what I noticed is that LB is scraping a bit randomly, meaning that for some games it takes the C64 metadata, Amstrad, Acorn, and mostly Atari ST instead of just taking the Amiga media. So I have to edit the games and run the metadata search manually for loads of games, quite exhausting as adding the whole stuff is already time consuming.
  14. Which core are you using in RA?
  15. @Lordmonkus I do that for all my systems, like that way you will have a proper set for yourself, and don't have to care about anymore when adding it somewhere else, like f.ex. handhelds. It's a lot of work, but it's worth it, plus you actually get to play the games. I only update the sets when f.ex. new translation ROMs that I like get released, other than that, I keep the sets the way they are, not even bothering new MAME sets when they come out, I just keep my .210 set with that version of MAME, and don't bother updating all the time, too many games anyway ? Going through a C64 set can take a huge amount of time, but for myself I prefer to do that rather than keeping hundreds of "worthless" games, that just clutter your set and you won't play anyways. That's why it's called a hobby, others work on cars, built boats with toothpicks or paint, I just organize ROMs ?
  16. Strange naming for Kickstart ROMs though, if you have a ROM called Kickstart v1.3 r34.5 (1987)(Commodore)(A500-A1000-A2000-CDTV)[!].rom f.ex. you can just rename it to kick13.rom FS-UAE and WinUAE even recognize the long name. Have never seen your naming of the ROMs.
  17. Perhaps you should first watch a YouTube video called "Introduction to Google", might help, as clearly you seem not to have any idea about anything, and raging straight away when people reply to you in an informative and polite way. Just buy one of those handhelds from Anbernic or PowKiddy, or even the Super Console X, they come with thousands of illegal ROMs already pre-installed and completely pre-configured with EmuElec, so you'll have a good start, plus a great handheld (RG351 f.ex.)
  18. I thought the S key was for changing views, at least that's what I use since the beginning.
  19. You can always add first the cue file games and in a second go the ccd file games. That would be 2 imports only.
  20. I have the Leon and Claire discs as two separate entries. Makes sense to me. For multiple disc games, put them in one folder like you did and generate a m3u file. Now in Launchbox import the m3u file as game. Here are 2 pictures, one of my FFVII folder and one of the contents of the m3u file. Notice that I'm using pbp files, and not the cue/bin combination.
  21. Check out a FS-UAE tutorial, that works best, plus together with WHDLoad.
