  1. I hereby confirm that with the latest v12.5 of LB it's working faster again. More testing will prove if it stays like that.
  2. You can try this: For creating the folders for each file: for %i in (*) do mkdir "%~ni" For moving each file to its folder: for %i in (*) do move "%i" "%~ni"
  3. I'm a very long time WinUAE user, but I switched to FS-UAE for LaunchBox. It works great once set up. WHDLoad works like charm, and for .adf files you just use configuration files to add to LaunchBox. I made 2 different entries in LaunchBox, one for Amiga WHD and one for Amiga ADF, so it's easier to keep apart. It's a bit work to get it running with all the games, but it's worth it. There's a great guide on the forums, you might wanna check that one out.
  4. Happened first with 12.3, rolled back to 12.1, ditto, after update to 12.4 it's still existing. Never had it in my setup before, and like I mentioned, I didn't change anything in that setup for almost 2 years now, everything is exactly the same. Since it happened the first time, it's doing it all the time. I added Atari ST games, went to manage emulators, setup the emulator and associated platforms, and it gives me this error. Tried then with ZX Spectrum, exactly the same. Tried also with different emulators, no change. In the beginning I thought it was because RetroArch had the cores for those 2 systems set as emulators, but after removing them from RetroArch, the problem still exists. I even physically removed the 2 cores (Fuse, Hatari) from the RetroArch cores folder. The emulator.xml file also doesn't show any of those 2 entries.
  5. Just tried, and yes, still the same. Here are 2 screenshots.
  6. I'm also trying with one single ROM at the time. Nothing in my setup changed, files are not read-only. LB is not running in Admin mode. I even have 12.4 installed now. Strange that I lately have those several weird issues. Like not being able to add an emulator, which annoys my the most, or the super slow Emumovies downloads. Everything seemed to happen together.
  7. Ok, so even though the box "allow deleting ROMs when deleting games" is ticked (as it was by default), it does NOT actually delete the ROMs.
  8. I'm having the same problem, editing single games has become a chore now. EDIT: Tried now with LB 12.4 and there are no changes despite getting mentioned in the update notes.
  9. Just wondering why it is hidden now and you're getting pointed towards that option? A lot of stuff annoying me in this new version. Adding images to games, add works normal, but instead when right clicking the image and having a list of options, I now have several subcategories and have to browse to the correct one for each image. Whose idea was that? Or did that also get some hidden option in the menu? Is that customizable? Several image options I don't need, can I put just the ones I need for myself? If not, should be considered for the future.
  10. In previous LB versions when you deleted a game from within the platform category it asked you if you also want to delete the game and any additional data, it doesn't do that anymore, it just deletes the entry and you have to delete the game manually. Not very convenient.
  11. Lately, for some months now, querying Emumovies takes very long. If I edit one game and download images, even if it's only one single image, the querying takes up to 3-5 minutes, not normal and quite annoying.
  12. Ok thanks, that did the trick.
  13. Is this a known issue? At the moment LB is not really working, I have several issues, like mentioned in my other thread. I cannot add new games at the moment, as this comes up straight away and closes LB immediately. It works fine in 12.1 version.
  14. Still stuck, tried to start from the beginning, adding as new platform, but I still get that message to add one applicable platform in the grid. Any news on this? Thanks.
  15. This keeps going on now with everything, even rolled back to 12.1, same error. Plus like I mentioned, if I manage somehow to get the emulator associated to the platform, running the game doesn't do anything until I right click on the game and I chose LAUNCH WITH. What's the difference anyways?
  16. Unfortunately that gives me the exact same error.
  17. Having the same problem with Atari ST now, although it's not even active in RetroArch. Is there an issue with the new version of LB? Got already updated to 12.3
  18. Seems ok now, had to remove it from RetroArch as default emulator first. But I encountered another problem, launching the game doesn't work, takes me straight away back to LB, it only works if I right click the game and chose launch with --> Fuse.
  19. When trying to add Fuse standalone emulator to LB, I get a message saying to add at least one platform. I add it, then click ok, but it gives me then a second row. I always did it this way though?
  20. I only have setup Unz in LB so far, quite the pain though having to do everything with Daemon Tools, wish there was an easier way, didn't know about Tsugaru.
  21. Best would be to merge all the track files into one using CD Mage. It's just cleaner that way, at least for me.
  22. Thanks Kurzih for the insight, never thought that it could be something like that, if it happens to be. And also thanks C-Beats for looking into the problem, so far it only happened with the CPC games and the Atari 800. C64 maybe, cannot remember now.
  23. I noticed that after redownloading the metadata and media that I got 2 entries for each game, as the old one was still existing, and what I noticed is that the same image was now named BMX Freestyle-02 and the old one BMX Freestyle -02, exactly what you said. But how do you prevent that from happening?
  24. It happened again. Currently doing my Amstrad CPC set, after adding letter S, I checked for missing media, and it found in CPC category 96 games without media. But everything was done. I then checked my Image folder and can see that the images are existing. I just don't know why it doesn't show them? A refresh doesn't help either. Doing a "download metadata and media" did the trick then, but why is it even happening? Could it be a cache problem?
  25. I'm currently doing Atari 800, came to letter H so far. I'm using clear logos for all of my platforms, and when importing Atari 800 games, about 60% are missing clear logos, so I create them myself. It's a bit better when it comes to screenshots, and I mostly use only 1-2 per game plus the game title, and for that Atarimania helps, as the screenshots are not watermarked. LB usually scrapes them correctly, some don't get scraped at all, probably as they're not in the database, at least the lesser know ones. I have around 790 games in my clean Atari 800 games set, so still a lot of work ahead.
