CoinOps Redux V 1.06 - Ludicrous Speed Edition
necropath replied to necropath's topic in Big Box Custom Themes
@GhostlinesI never added compatibility for Game Gear games. Maybe if I ever do a future update I could fix that issue. I haven't been interested in gaming at the moment but I'm sure I'll get back into one day. -

@BoxdgmHave you tried refreshing the images in Big Box or Launchbox? You may have the art in the wrong folder or have other art in a folder that has a higher "priority" to show up. The file names could also not be exactly named correctly. That's the best I can think of at the moment. -

@cybermatNot exactly sure what you are referring to. Sorry I can't be more helpful. -

@darreldearthI don't think that view is in the new version since I had to rework the purpose of each view. You could take the view file from the previous version that includes the box / cart art and work it into the new version. If I get some free time, I'll try to look into it. Having the box art and cart art files loading would slow the theme down a bit though. -

@darreldearth I'll keep that in mind for a future update. I don't have the source files for this theme so implementing that would be extremely difficult at the moment. This update was created by me deleting lines of code and figuring out which each line does manually. -

@Gamester1701 The previous version of this theme supported 4:3 (v 1.05). I don't have a 4:3 monitor or way to test it out so I can't confirm it works. I don't see why it wouldn't work though. -

@darreldearthI'm not sure why you would want to use box / cart art with this theme. It uses Fan Art Backgrounds. -
Love this plugin and works like a champ. I'm having one slight issue though. Whenever I download a video with it, it always downloads at a maximum resolution of 720p. Is this a limitation of grabbing videos from Youtube? I have the best quality available option selected. I also can manually set a video for it to download by setting a path to it in the game's settings for LaunchBox. Still won't download greater than 720p even if it's pointed directly to a 1080p or higher video.

Mame No-Nag Updated Monthly, Current Version:
necropath commented on MadK9's file in Third-party Apps and Plugins
Does this remove the bios / rom check screen when loading games? I'm not seeing any other nag screens but ETA Prime's video (he's a youtuber that uses this in one of his tutorials) shows him booting directly into X-men which mine doesn't. I still have the Rom chip check and then a cross grid calibration screen before the game starts. I've checked that Launchbox is pointing to MAME correctly, have the correct exe file, and correct ini setting. I'm using a fresh install of MAME 250. So maybe ETA Prime's video has a bit of clever editing to make the "no nag" do something it doesn't actually do? I'm hoping this post clears up some confusion as I've read through all the previous comments where others were having similar issues. -
Is there any way to turn off the platform logo banner that scrolls from left to right? at the top of the screen when viewing games? I see that view 4 turns off the scrolling game information at the bottom but don't see any option to turn off the top one. I'm trying to incorporate new images from CoinOps Collections into this theme but just stuck at this one part. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
