Thank you for creating this! I appreciate you very much. I am going to drop some stuff to help others along the way. The Launchbox command parameters can be tricky. I am still trying to figure out how to get Apple Macintosh rolling through MAME into Launchbox. All the other configs should get you booted and going. I am in no way "proficient" running these old PC architectures through MAME, they all have their own idiosyncrasies. What I have attached will be helpful integrating MAME software list into Launchbox that has databases using Joe's amazing import tool. Once again, Mac OS is wrong and needs to be addressed. I may have missed something, I know Hyperscan roms are not available in MAME currently. Please let me know if I missed anything. Happy collection building Frens. Yep. They boot and work in MAME. Current parameter I found suggested via the plugin was pet -cass1 I tried variations of it, pet -cass, pet_cass -cass1 so and so forth.

I am in the process of adding in working MAME Software Lists that Launchbox has in database. I am using MAME Software importer which is an amazing plugin for this project. I keep running into command line parameter problems and having to search for correct parameters to input so these systems launch. Some I have figured out, others I have not. Currently stuck on Commodore PET. I added cassettes in and bios, can not get the parameters right. Anybody got a working screen shot of their MAME emulator systems to help a brother out? Please be actually working. FYI current MAME, current BIOS and current software .287

When I stop to think about it. I remember freezing during the update whenever it was prompted, over a week ago I believe. I had to kill app in task manager. When I reopened it installed. Most likely the case, I bugged myself when it froze up. I should restart before updating, this hard drive is getting very full. lol Only logical thing I can think of. Thanks for your patience friend. Everything is working as intended.

Nope. Have done this all. Tried it again, and nothing but the one rom pulling through "garoup" which is Garou Mark of the Wolves Prototype. Metadata pulls just data for "garou". Which is fine, doubt the prototype is even databased. Thanks for the help. I maybe need to reinstall or something. Especially if it works for you. Tells me I am glitched some how.

Tried it. Same result. Tried all sorts of marking and unmarking in custom options. Tried MAME data and no MAME data. Not sure why it is doing this?

I originally tried importing into general arcade. Then I have created a platform for Final Burn Neo. I have also tried creating Arcade (Final Burn Neo). I have it all setup with retroarch and core mapped out in platform and emulation. I have been using LB for a while now. Never ran into this. Kind of wondering if I should try finalburn neo as a standalone emulator? Would that trick it?

I have a full MAME rom set up and running. I am looking to import a bunch of rom hacks that only work in Final Burn Neo. When I go to import them none of the roms import! I have tried all sorts of toggling and check marking combinations. Yes, I am aware of marking duplicates and scraping as Arcade. I even tried using MAME metadata. Launchbox pulls only one rom out of 74. The only thing I can get working is manually adding. Doing 74 manual games is going to be a big pain in the ass. Any guidance?

A ROM MANAGER! When database gets updated a scan to pull in roms recently added to the database with metadata. I would love an import option or scan that lets you know if there is any database/metadata before importing roms. Quality of life improvements please.

Here ya go friend. Let it be known I'm looking for Tekken 6 Vanilla and Tekken 6 - Bloodline Rebellion working dumps/roms for Namco 357. Found 2 dumps of each, all 4 do not work or the product, vendor and serial are the problem. If the data does not match the rom its all bad from what I understand. I would appreciate the help pointing me to working Tekken 6 arcade goodness. Also, was able to get Tekken Tag 2 running via shortcut. Most likely due to it actually being Namco 359 and having different boot setup.
