  1. Hi @5thWolf, in order for the multiple discs badge to show, you must have multiple additional apps on the game with the disc number set.
  2. Most likely you're not using an official version of MAME. Unfortunately it now requires either an official or a no-nag version of MAME. MAMEUI64 is no longer supported. We added some necessary anti-cheat mechanisms which unfortunately are not compatible with other versions.
  3. What version of MAME are you using? I'm reporting this issue in the hi2txt issues list.
  4. Lol, nevermind. Found it.
  5. Oddly I'm not seeing any bogus scores posted for Nibbler. What's your gamer tag?
  6. Thanks for letting us know.
  7. Sadly that's not possible with MAME. Those particular arcade games were pay-to-win from the very beginning, unfortunately.
  8. Yes, older platforms are covered very well. There are misses occasionally, but there are misses occasionally for the LaunchBox Games Database as well.
  9. Hi @Ludecan, in order to download EmuMovies videos within LaunchBox, you need a paid EmuMovies account. You can still manually download the videos from the EmuMovies website though without a paid account.
  10. My guess is that you have either keyboard mapping or a controller mapping set up to "Show LaunchBox", and maybe that's triggering. Something is running a copy of LaunchBox.exe or BigBox.exe, which is triggering that message. Can you check your bindings?
  11. I must have missed including the updated XML in the hi2txt zip. If you update the XML, that should fix it.
  12. https://www.mamedev.org/
  13. Yeah, same for me.
  14. MAMEUI64 does no longer work with 10.14. That was on purpose in order to prevent some forms of cheating. Our apologies for that; you will need an official version of MAME or MAME no-nag for the high scores to work going forward.
  15. Deleting the .cfg files will reset them.
  16. Yes, MAMEUI64 no longer works with 10.14. Our apologies, but the changes were important to prevent some types of cheating. You'll need an official version of MAME or MAME no-nag instead.
  17. If you're not seeing or uploading any high scores, please note that we clamped down on cheating a bit for 10.14, and the high scores features require an official version of MAME in order to work. Let me know if you're using an official version of MAME and still can't get it to work.
  18. They're still there. Are you using an official version of MAME?
  19. Yes, agreed. This was a last ditch effort to prevent obvious cheating, and it succeeds in preventing a lot of it. But again, we'll never be able to catch everything. Regardless, it succeeds in my original goals: To encourage playing more MAME games by encouraging healthy competition To improve discovery of games you haven't played before To bring the community more together
  20. Done.
  21. At this point, I would encourage users not to touch dip switch changes at all. We will still ban for suspect scores. As much as I wish this was a perfect system, at some point I have to move on to other things, and I'm confident that what we have is as close as we're going to be able to get to getting rid of cheating. MAME was never built to prevent that to begin with.
  22. So that is unfortunate. There are probably some games that are impossible to detect dip switch changes on for that reason. I don't want to give up on this whole feature though, because that would just be sad. We knew from the beginning that we'd never be able to completely eliminate hacking and cheating due to emulation. The good news is that cheating should be very difficult for the majority of games with this version, but apparently not all of them.
  23. Apparently Moon Patrol operates differently than most other arcade games with the dip switches. With most games, at least the ones that I tested, the dip switch settings are not updated/refreshed while a game is active. Unfortunately with Moon Patrol, dip switches are updated and immediately take affect while the current game is running. On top of that, MAME doesn't update the .cfg file while the game is running, so unfortunately, we have zero visibility to that. Sadly this means that tracking dip switch changes (for Moon Patrol specifically) is impossible.
  24. We go out of our way to prevent that. I'll review though to make sure that's not bugged. Please still send me your files so I can review.
  25. @andyco47 If you would, please PM me your Moon Patrol .cfg file and your debug logs. I'll see if I can't take a look to see if there's something to fix. Currently, I'm pretty doubtful though.
