  1. Gotcha, so unfortunately that means we can't add a default script (probably the reason we didn't in the first place). Once you add a binding though, you can easily add the script just by copying the default Load State script and changing the two key values to the correct key: Send {F4 down} Sleep 50 Send {F4 up}
  2. Welcome @BMovieBen. That theme looks sweet. Per #1, the ImageVideoView will automatically use an image if a video isn't available, assuming that's turned on in the options. So you may not need to worry about it at all. The delay is not really customizable because it's there in order to make sure that the UI is a smooth experience and doesn't freeze while the video is loading up.
  3. Good to know @zmuzkiz. Sorry for the late reply. This is on my list.
  4. @MrSco Are you still seeing this issue with 10.11-beta-2?
  5. That would be a good idea @Rincewind. I'll add that to my list. Might be a good idea to add it to BitBucket.
  6. Hi Martin, good idea. I'll add that to my list.
  7. Hi Wanderer, I can't seem to replicate that. Here's my steps: Edit a single game Click Download Images/Media Click Uncheck All on the first tab Click Uncheck All on the EmuMovies tab Click Download When I do that, the dialog just closes, though it does take a second. Are you doing something differently?
  8. Yeah, the plugin basically does allow you to batch upload things, which is great, but we have had quite a few issues with users uploading bad/poor quality content over the years. For that reason we aren't really looking to create a batch uploader other than the plugin, and if you do decide to use the plugin, I would ask that you're very careful to ensure that everything you upload is correct and needed (which makes it difficult to use in batch).
  9. For this to work, you need to populate the Swap Discs AutoHotkey script under the Retroarch emulator in LaunchBox. You can get there by going to Tools > Manage Emulators > Retroarch > Pause Screen > Swap Discs. The AutoHotkey script will simply need to fire off the keyboard shortcut in Retroarch to swap discs. I'm not sure what that is for the moment, but I could help get a script written if we can find out.
  10. Beta 2 is out now with the following: Fixed: Badges were not showing up with dynamic box sizing disabled Fixed: An error in the Simplified Chinese translation was causing crashes related to the updated View menu Fixed: The Multiple Discs badge wasn't showing up properly for games with only two discs
  11. I'm guessing you're not seeing them because in beta 1 they don't show up if you have dynamic box sizing disabled. I have a beta uploading that fixes this.
  12. I haven't added badges to Big Box yet, but they would be fairly easy to add. The issues are though: We need a larger set of badges that work well for Big Box Theme developers would have to update their themes to support them We'd need to decide where to put them Putting the badges directly in the wheels or the text lists would be a major job, so that's probably not going to happen soon (and could also cause performance issues). It'd be fairly easy to add them to the details views though.
  13. This would be great to add, but unfortunately the Retro Achievements API is still very limited. We currently have to run an API call for each and every game to check to see if it has achievements (which we do when games are selected), but doing it quickly for every game on-screen just isn't possible currently. We could certainly cache it, but then the badge isn't going to be accurate for games that haven't yet been cached, so that's probably not a good idea.
  14. Thanks for this. There was an error in the Simplified Chinese translation that I've fixed for the next beta.
  15. Hey all, the first 10.11 beta is out here:
  16. Hey all, the first 10.11 beta is out now with the following: New Premium Feature: A new "badges" system has been built for LaunchBox that displays badges for various things next to your games. Badges are now available for Broken, Completed, Favorite, Hidden, Multiple Discs, Multiple Versions, Portable, and Unplayed. The images can be changed and the badges can be enabled or disabled via the new Badges drop down at the top of the LaunchBox interface. Plugins can also be used to add new badges. Improvement: No-Intro ROMs with multiple titles (separated by the ~ character) will now use the first title as the game title for better scraping Fixed: Importing games will no longer skip "duplicate" games because of multiple platforms that use the same Scrape As value Here's a preview of the new badges system: The new badges system knocks out two of the top 20 items from the last poll, and also makes way for the controls icons that ended up at #2 on the poll.
  17. I've noticed that recently as well. On my list.
  18. Yes, I've considered it in the past, but it hasn't been a priority. We support both free and premium users, so it's not a major concern for me.
  19. Hi @SiriusVI, unfortunately the eXoDOS collection is not currently compatible with the startup screens. This is due to the batch file scripting that eXoDOS uses, which doesn't allow us to properly monitor the emulator's process. It's something that I've looked into fixing before, but unfortunately I haven't found a solution, and I'm not sure if one actually exists. Unfortunately you'll just have to turn off startup screens for the eXoDOS collection.
  20. I see. If it's showing all that stuff, it means that there's files with those names in there somewhere. It's not a perfect process because it can't always know what's a game and what isn't. It should do a decent job, but it looks like you've run into a situation where it can't identify the files, and so it thinks they're games. Are you trying to do it for all platforms or just one? I would suggest going platform-by-platform; that should help narrow it down.
  21. I'm confused here, @dbinott. The dialog above is the import ROMs dialog, but you say you weren't adding games? The dialog you showed above is only for adding games.
  22. @edgecrusher462 I'm not exactly sure what's causing it based on that error message, but it could be data-related at this point. Are you able to run Big Box if you install to a completely new folder? You can keep your existing installation and just install to a different folder to test. @rumple987 If you would please, check the Windows application event log per the above, after you attempt to run it. Hopefully the error message will give us a clue as to what's going on.
  23. Nothing is impossible, but I know for a fact that these settings are not getting reset during the upgrade. So I'm not sure what exactly happened, but there's something fishy here. Thanks, I'll add this to my list for the next poll. What emulator (and core) were you using?
  24. I see, thanks. Was just curious about the details of the issue. I can't say I've experienced that myself, so I'm still not sure why it would be happening or how to fix it. It looks like usually it's caused by a background app, but if you haven't installed anything else, I'm not sure what that would be. I would try disabling OneDrive and anything else that you can find in Task Manager that could be causing the problem. The Startup tab in Task Manager will let you disable all of your startup apps, and typically you don't need any of them. Then if you reboot, you can see if you still have the problem.
