  1. For the platform view it is the default on Android, yes. But it's not available exactly like that on PC. You would have to tweak the theme files yourself in order to achieve that. You're welcome to though.
  2. To be honest, this is not relevant to this thread, so you should start a new thread instead of hopping on here. This just means that you need to install .NET Core 3.1. If you run the LaunchBox installer it should do it for you.
  3. @moudrost Some hopeful fixes were added in 12.15-beta-5, which came out yesterday. Can you test to see if that version solves your crashes?
  4. @bliberche You'll need to follow the instructions to disable the Nahimic service in the Windows Task Manager, as it says.
  5. Yes, you can edit those files if you're careful. If LaunchBox for Android is ignoring the changes, then it's likely still open in the background in Android. So make sure you completely exit the app and then also remove it from the app switcher before you edit any files.
  6. @x1mjp1x There is not currently a good way to do that without copying files. We may add options for that in the future, but it will probably be a while. Android is meant to be simple, and so is naturally missing some of those more power-user features.
  7. Unfortunately there's a bit too much here to really pin down. You're saying that the application path field contains the root folder field's value?
  8. @LazerTag I have not tested this specific scenario, but it sounds like you have, and I'm not surprised that it's not working. I know that the disc parsing mechanism at least will not work in this scenario. To be honest, I haven't heard a report from anyone else that they're using this filename format, so it is unlikely that we'll be adding support for it soon.
  9. It looks like the path is incorrect. It contains F:/ for some reason. We may have a bug somehow that is causing that...but I'm not sure why. Can you zip up and PM me your LaunchBox\Data folder?
  10. Beta 5 is out now with the following: Improvement: Deleting a game in LaunchBox no longer scrolls the user back up to the top of the view Improvement: Added Platform binding to Big Box's FilterDetailsViewModel (for theme devs) Improvement: Platform-specific views now will try to find a view based on the platform's Scrape As value if one cannot be found for its exact name Improvement: VLC has been updated to the latest version Fixed: The MAME Full-set Import Wizard now properly reflects that 0.162 is the oldest supported version of MAME that can be used Fixed: Controller buttons not working to skip the startup video in Big Box (introduced in the last beta)
  11. Oh, I see. You're importing MAME, which is a little different from other platforms. If you check the box "this is a full MAME set", it will of course import the entire MAME set. MAME is complicated though because often you can't just pick and choose which MAME ROMs to copy over, which is why it works this way.
  12. Thanks guys; I have this fixed for the next beta.
  13. Neil is correct; LaunchBox will always only show the ROMs that you have imported, but maybe the ROMs did exist but no longer exist? Can you explain the process that you used to get them imported? Did you use the export from the Windows version or did you import them on Android directly?
  14. Yes, for the Nvidia Shield, it is necessary to use the NVIDIA_SHIELD folder (frankly because the Shield device is dumb and introduced something specific only to the Shield). So this unfortunately is not relevant at all to any other device other than the Nvidia Shield.
  15. I don't think it should be. I have both in my setup as well. I'm honestly not sure how they could have gotten confused.
  16. How are you moving those files? With the exporter on the computer? Assuming that is what you're doing, that's probably a device-specific issue. Unfortunately the stability for file copies can vary tremendously across various devices. Some devices unfortunately do a terrible job with their drivers that they use to connect to a PC. If you re-copy that image folder over, that will include the cache. The cache is not generated on-the-fly like it is on Windows. However, some devices also do a terrible job allowing you to overwrite files when copying from a PC. So to be safe, you may want to delete the entire Images folder on your Android device itself, then connect it up to the computer and re-copy the entire folder. Not a bad idea. I can add that to the list.
  17. That's good to know that they're updating Dolphin to help with that. The having to launch several times bug though is still a bug with Dolphin that unfortunately needs to be fixed by the Dolphin devs. Yeah, I need to do more research to see if I can do that without introducing the fullscreen pop-out issues. I don't think I could, though, last I checked, if I remember correctly. Okay, that's what I was afraid of. Unfortunately I don't think there's anything we can do to fix that then.
  18. This isn't a bad idea. However, the app *should* properly switch back and forth between landscape and portrait without any issues. What do you mean by a rotate button?
  19. Google's over-bearing rules and regulations on the Play Store have made that impossible. We tried being on the Play Store years ago and it literally ruined and killed the entire project. Not being on the Play Store was the honestly the best decision we've ever made for Android.
  20. That's a pretty cool idea. Probably a long ways off because of the complications of it, but we'll keep it in mind going forward.
  21. Sorry for the late response. This is guaranteed either to be a stuck button on the device, a driver issue with the controller on the device, or something of that nature. That functionality, where the menu opens and closes, is just part of the built-in Android operating system. Unfortunately the Odins lately are proving to be very flawed devices with some significant issues with reliability. Sorry I don't have better news here. It's possible that you have a stuck button, or it's possible that they broke the firmware in some way.
  22. This is actually not true for Android. Sorry for the confusion here. On Android, in order for it to pick up your images, you either need to download them with Download Missing Media, or export your games/media/etc. from the desktop app.
  23. Thanks; will look into this. Not sure why Daphne isn't showing up in that list, or why it's crashing. Also a good idea.
  24. Eventually we're planning to add "hidden games" functionality, at least, so that you can hide those games and then use a pin to unlock them. But unfortunately that's likely a ways off. For the moment we don't have any good solutions for that.
  25. We do have an item on our list to add an option for Favorites next to All Games and Recently Played. Not sure on the time frame for that though.
