  1. Psssh. Sony. Only good for emulation.
  2. Actually, whether or not you need the quotes doesn't have anything to do with the full path or the relative path, only whether there's a space (or any other special character that might mess up the command line) in the path. Sorry, just been doing this since DOS 3.3 in the 80s.
  3. Ah, I see. Thanks @ChrisHale. Unfortunately the wizard probably won't work in that scenario. What you can do instead is manually create the game in LaunchBox. Just check the box to use DOSBox, add a mount in the Mounts tab for the ISO, and then add another mount for the installation folder. Then you can manually run the game and it should open DOSBox for you to run the installation manually with both the ISO and the destination folder mounted as separate drives for the install.
  4. Hi @CliveBarker, "Please wait while parsing EmuMovies" should be in the DownloadMetadataWizardForm.resx and ImportGamesFromFilesWizard.resx files. I can't seem to find Personal Notes anywhere in the code...where are you seeing that?
  5. New beta is out guys with the updated es and pt-BR translations. Any testing would be appreciated; we did run into an issue recently where a couple of the forms were showing up as corrupted after updating the translations (it was easy to fix once we found it). Thanks again. :)
  6. Alright, beta 9 is out. Resolved most of the issues so went ahead and put it out. Still doesn't let you download from EmuMovies without an associated TGDB or Wikipedia ID; I may or may not get to that before the official. In the mean time it's a decent enough workaround just to delete the game and re-import it, which will work to download from EmuMovies whether or not it finds anything from TGDB or Wikipedia. This also includes updated Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese translations. Thanks everyone! Break it for me! ;)
  7. Hi @sincro, I believe I have that bug fixed. Should have the beta out later tonight. The issue was that for "Arcade" it was searching many different "arcade"-related EmuMovies platforms, and just picking the first one it found, which happened to be ArcadePC. I removed ArcadePC from the list (you can just use an ArcadePC platform for that instead now if that's really what you want), and also sorted it so that MAME is priority.
  8. Lolololol, *only*. ;) Anybody have an Xbox account they want to share? Mine is deepest seed. Feel free to friend me, of course.
  9. Thanks @sincro, got it. Looking into it.

Ah, interesting. What did that fix exactly?
  11. Hi @Haizum74. The platforms that show up on imports do not show up elsewhere, and you can hide them by unchecking the "show all platforms" check box. It's just a default list of platforms, and it can't really be edited. Rest assured that they don't show up anywhere else in your actual collection, so it shouldn't be a big deal. The platforms that show up elsewhere (for example when editing a game), are just the list of platforms that have previously been used. You can use Tools > Manage Platforms to manage them.
  12. Thank you guys! Gonna try to get a beta out today with the updated pt-BR and es translations. @CliveBarker, that really sucks. Sounds similar to the stupid issues we've been having with PayPal. :/
  13. Hi @sincro, hmm, I'll look into the Arcade Video_MP4_HD only thing. Is that the only one showing up in the list, or are the others there but just not checked by default? Good point on the EmuMovies without TGDB or Wikipedia. That should work fine for batch downloads but I see that it's not there for editing single games.
  14. Hi Marc, responded to you via email. :)
  15. Thank you Clive! Sounds great, night. :)
  16. It's that time again everyone. :) This should hopefully be the last beta before the official release, so hopefully we can get the translations in. The translation packs at the beginning of the thread are up to date, of course. Here's the list of resource files that have changed: AddEditForm.resx ConfigureEmuMoviesForm.resx DownloadImagesForm.resx DownloadMetadataWizardForm.resx EmulatorForm.resx ExceptionForm.resx ImportGamesFromFilesWizardForm.resx ManagePlatformsForm.resx OptionsForm.resx Strings.resx Finally, here are the release notes that could use translating as well: EmuMovies support for downloading images, manuals, music, and videos MAME ROM filtering on imports to skip clones, prefer certain regions, and/or skip hacks, prototypes, or bootleg games Various stability improvements Thank you everyone! :) @CliveBarker @cyanjiang @AFaustini @Wattoo
  17. Alright, new beta is out. I'm hoping this will be the last beta before release, so extra testing would be appreciated. I believe all issues with the EmuMovies stuff are fixed, as well as any critical bugs. Thanks everyone. :)
  18. Alright, sounds like Retroarch is just fried somehow. Are you able to start Retroarch at all? Is that snes9x_libretro.dll core the same one that is referenced in LaunchBox for Super Nintendo on the Retroarch emulator? Screenshot us the Retroarch emulator's Associated Platforms tab.
  19. Hmm, good question. The only thing I can think to do would be to make sure that LaunchBox starts up *after* Steam. I'm not really up on how to do that, but I know there are multiple methods of starting apps on startup, so hopefully there should be a way to do that... Sorry I'm not more help.

Hi @tibic, you can enable the mouse in Big Box under Options > Mouse.
  21. Hi @Graffix3001, what version of Project64 are you using? Different versions require different command line parameters. If you look at emulator drop down in LaunchBox when adding the emulator, you'll see two different Project64s in the list. Try the other one and see if that works. :)
  22. I edited the post; default permissions disallow edits after a certain period of time.
  23. Thanks, @ochief, makes sense. Feel free to add a feature request using Report Issue / Feedback above if you'd still like it added eventually. :)
  24. Very cool @Dewphoria, and thank you! They look great. Would you be willing to share larger versions and/or the source files for them? Not sure if and where we might use them, but they'd be great to have for the future if you're willing to grant us the permissions. :)
