  1. @Triclinic, what are the Tankstick keys mapped to by default? What do you have them mapped to? It'd be faster for now to just add those keys, that way I can probably get you a beta tonight that works. I'll build in custom keys functionality, but that will likely take a bit.
  2. Hi @Triclinic, as of right now it's not possible to customize the keyboard keys. However, I am realizing just now how important that probably is, as I'm guessing you need it for Tankstick compatibility, correct?
  3. Hi @TonyWatto, indeed you can; just edit the Emulator and add new records to the grid on the bottom. Or you can change the existing ones in the list to point to a different core. There should be a record for each platform, basically.
  4. Hi Joe, that may have been requested before, but if it has it's been a long time. That is a good idea; I'll add it to the list. :)
  5. Hi @rich2k4, welcome. LaunchBox does support RocketLauncher; I'm not overly familiar with how to set it up, but I know there are people on here who do successfully use LaunchBox with RocketLauncher. Per filtering to parent ROMs only, no, there's nothing in LaunchBox to automatically filter. You can certainly filter out or hide anything you want to, but LaunchBox won't automatically identify ROMs as parents.
  6. Wow, okay, interesting. Thanks for running through that process. I'll take a look. :)
  7. Hi @sylandro, LaunchBox is supposed to append the unique id of the game to a game's image file names when it detects that there is more than one game with the same title for a specific platform. I trust that this is working, though I haven't tested it recently. That said, if you manually move images over to the folder, this of course won't automatically work. It would probably be worth creating a decent test scenario for this. I believe if you edit a game, it should be assigning the unique game IDs to the image files. The game IDs are GUIDs that look like a serious of random letters, numbers, and dashes.
  8. Ah, interesting. It might help me identify the issue if you can send me your LaunchBox.xml file (jasondavidcarr at gmail dot com). I know I have seen issues in the past if you have games with the same platform name, but different casing (such as Super Nintendo and super nintendo).
  9. Is AutoHotkey working properly for you in LaunchBox? Just not in Big Box? If you would, email me your LaunchBox.xml file to jasondavidcarr at gmail dot com and I'll see if I can figure anything out.
  10. Thanks again to @Syriacn. We're going to feature this on the home page shortly. Feel free to remind me in a week or two if I forget. :)
  11. Good ideas, @samfisher5986. I have bigger fish to fry for the moment than to try to tackle replacing the video backend, so that will have to be tabled until/if it ever becomes a more significant issue. I'll add items to my list for the video continue and fullscreen stuff. :)
  12. Unfortunately only implementing a single codec means massive compatibility issues. If we did that, we'd have angry people left and right, so that's not really an option. As it stands, the vast majority of people have no problem playing their videos (or are able to solve the problem relatively easily).
  13. Sweet. I really need to fill out the default emulator settings for all of those. Any idea what Crystal needs?
  14. Hehehehe, you got that right. Colorado skiing is the best. And amusement rides (and roller coasters) are probably my favorite things in the entire world. Pretty jealous. ;)
  15. Boom! Thank you @scree. Didn't even realize that this latest change would fix WinKawaks. :)
  16. Sigh, figures. Unfortunately getting videos working with anything else is likely to be a royal pain, especially to keep them compatible with the transitions. That's the biggest thing. Hardware acceleration and the transitions are fully supported with the Windows stuff, but other options aren't likely to support it.
  17. Ah, good point, Brad. Hyperpause must do it somehow though. I'm sure they don't tap into the programs themselves. Should probably go hunt down that code.
  18. I haven't done much research, but unfortunately, to be honest, I think it's mostly a failure at this point. I think it's available now, but who wants a PC-based game console that won't play most PC games? As much as I love and appreciate Linux, the fact is that most games only come out for Windows, so it's just too restrictive.
  19. Holy crap...ugh. I do love skiing though. Colorado skiing in 60 degree weather...now that's pretty ideal. ;)
  20. Weird, well thanks to you @samfisher5986, we now know what to tell people at least. :)
  21. Ah, good to know! Ugh, didn't realize that was possible. That's stupid. Thanks, Microsoft. I know it was installed by default on all of my Windows 10 machines (all three). But apparently it is a possible scenario.
  22. I hear you. I think I'm just spoiled with the weather out here. I got really tired of dealing with snow storms and just general bad weather. Just a huge difference between having good weather 90% of the year vs. typical midwest weather (either piping hot or freezing cold). You sure did see some beautiful places...
  23. I'm in love with my Logitech MX Master. Good thing my 9 to 5 paid for it though; they're ridiculously expensive.
