Thanks, Jason. I like to think I can take a good photo. If I bothered to learn all the stuff my camera can do, maybe I could. Illinois and Ohio? (Corn, Crime, and Tires) Bummer! I'll definitely take your advice and never live in either of those places. I've lived in different states, and from what I know, Alaska, California, Oregon (my home state), Hawaii, and Colorado have some great majestic terrain/scenery. Every state has its wonderful places, of course. I lived in New Hampshire for 2+ decades, and it had plenty of beautiful places. When I was much younger, I didn't reflect on natures' beauty as much as I do now. An oldster thing, I guess...

Well, I have "Blast!" in my Internet 'Bundle'. My bill doesn't reflect the break-down of the Blast! cost (WTF?), but my Comcast bill (TV and Internet only - no phone (I use MagicJack)) is under $94/mo. I'm on a 'Promo Deal', so my bill will be going up eventually, but not by a crazy amount (I think it will be $20-$30 more/month when the 'promo' runs out). But since I'm getting awesome download speeds, I'll probably continue to pay it.

Oh, yah, Derek, it's a pretty state. I'm from Oregon, and it has it's scenic spots, too, as every state does. Regarding your comment about 'Legalization', I'm gonna start a new Monkey Topic about it. It's bizarre, compared to most other states, that you can legally purchase 'Reefer Madness' substances. Many entrepreneurs are taking advantage of this lucrative market. To quote an 'Old School' Dow Chemical (now Dow Corning) advertising ditty, "Better Living through Chemistry". P.S. BTW, "Better Living Through Chemistry", has been one of my mottoes for many years.

What the ****, Derek? I've never seen an Upload speed faster than a Download speed. As you said, if you uploaded stuff, that would be a great speed.

Went on a small 'road trip' recently (Sun-Wed). Not that you'd care, but here's a few photos I took:

I get pretty good speeds. This is around my average (low 90's for download (10-15 for upload)): My ISP (as you can see from the lower-left corner of the 'speed test' screenshot) is Comcast/Xfinity. Click here if ya wanna check your speed. P.S. I'd be interested to see what you folks in foreign countries (or U.S. folks in the 'middle-of-nowhere' or huge metro areas) get.

I have a lot of refrigerator magnets - here's one of my favorites: Send the pathetic baby one of these (I suspect it will easily apply to them). If they heed the advice, we'll all be better off.

YouTube Gaming Interestingly, in Firefox (which is my Browser of choice - Yay for Open Source!) the page starts to load, and then I get an 'interesting' error message: "Lorem ipsum other castle, arrow to the knee set up us the bomb." I'll have to investigate that, later... Works fine in IE, though.

Jason Carr said Hi Stimpy, in theory, all of the images that didn't move are no longer referenced by LaunchBox (and can be deleted). Usually these are due to old versions/copies of games. We have seen some odd scenarios pop up, however, due to glitches in older versions of LaunchBox. So try moving them out of the folder first, and then refresh your images. Yup, everything is present and accounted for. Thanks, Jason! And now I know where to put the artwork I download. P.S. Did my Back-Up, too.

Gamefly’s game-streaming service arrives on Samsung smart TVs
CadetStimpy replied to CadetStimpy's topic in Monkeys
Competition can be good for the consumer, so I welcome Gamefly's streaming (however, I won't be subscribing any time soon), although their initial offering of games is reported to be pretty thin. -
LEGO PC P.S. Very long article, but I mostly scrolled like heck and only viewed the pictures. And then, there's the Bio-PC.

Windows 10 - Tweaks, Tricks and Community Sharing [Please Read]
CadetStimpy replied to SentaiBrad's topic in Monkeys
SentaiBrad said http://www.pcworld.com/article/2975289/windows/how-to-cure-windows-10s-worst-headaches.html I came across this, it said it was updated 5 hours ago from me making this post. So it seems to get updated. Lots of cool tips and tricks in this article as well as how to disable some applications like Cortana. Good stuff at PCWorld, Brad. I subscribe to a few of their Newsletters. There are lots of decent Links relating to Windows 10 in this article (Windows 10 Superguide)! -
Jason Carr said Hi Stimpy, with 5.0 the images were reorganized. The proper image folder paths should be something like this by default: LaunchBox\Images\[Platform]\[Type]\[Game Name].jpg For example: LaunchBox\Images\Nintendo Wii\Front\Sonic Colors.jpg Do they show up there? Hey, Jason. Ah-ha! There they are. Thanks! So, now, instead of downloading my own Cover Art and calling it 'Front', and placing it in the sub-directory with the name of the game, I call it the name of the game, and place it in the Platform\Front directory, right? But, why didn't they all "go over"? About 40 of the games "stayed behind" under the old structure.

Run Android Apps in Windows with AMIDuOS (Link)
CadetStimpy replied to CadetStimpy's topic in Monkeys
AMIDuOS, since you don't have enough programs on your PC already. -
I was attempting to add some downloaded artwork into a game sub-directory (under Images), but the appropriate directory wasn't there, even though I had just added the game (and downloaded whatever TheGamesDB had for it). Therefore, I can't replace the Front.jpg, as I don't have the correct directory to place it in. I have about 300 games added to LaunchBox (the artwork for all of the games is there), but there are less than 50 sub-directories under Images. My Back-Up of LaunchBox has the more appropriate amount of 300+ sub-directories under Images. What the heck's goin' on? Could some of the directory structure have moved itself???

Windows 10 - Tweaks, Tricks and Community Sharing [Please Read]

Shortcut Keys for Windows 10 (well suited for a printable 'cheat sheet'). P.S. Derek, your 'drive array' is insanely awesome. -
Here's a few point-and-click puzzle games I play, that have fun artwork (IMHO) and challenging game-play. These links allow you to play a little of each game. I'm not that great at puzzle games (some of them have ridiculously obscure puzzles/solutions, I think), but I still enjoy them, and thank goodness for 'walk-throughs'. AMD's Project Quantum: The Enthusiast PC Form-Factor Leaps Forward
CadetStimpy replied to CadetStimpy's topic in Monkeys
If you're even slightly interested in PC hardware, I suggest you watch this video. The guts of this thing are explained here, in a bit more detailed, but fun way. P.S. The very end was a bit adolescent, but I (being a little short on maturity) got a good chuckle out of it. -
Windows through the Ages (Well, its 30 years, anyway)
CadetStimpy replied to CadetStimpy's topic in Monkeys
Windows is 30 years old, so FWIW, here's the nostalgic flash-back:
