I didn't look at the .ini I doubt there is a fullscreen option in there but it wouldn't hurt to look.

@DudeChester for games that are rotated on launch I created a copy of my DeSmuME folder except the .ini file and named it DeSmuMe Horizontal now when ever I discover a game that launches wrong I just go into edit and change the emulator to the horizontal version. I named it Horizontal before I realized that changing the LCD layout wouldn't fix the issue but using rotation would.

Send in the script does automate keystrokes so I was wrong it is possible I'm checking things out but of the few suggestions I've seen they aren't working.
-
I don't think AHK can setup an auto press it would allow you to set up an alt+enter combination scenario that you would have to implement with your controller. You may be able to make a .bat (batch file) that you would replace the emulator with that would run DeSmuMe and then carry out the key presses to enter full screen but if you don't know anything about scripting that may not work out for you. I don't know much about it and just copy others scripts when I find them useful so I can't help on that side. I'm not an expert on AHK either so I could be wrong and it may handle auto presses but from the little I know of it I don't think it works that way.

Of course it isn't. You can use the license as many times as you want on your computers sharing the premium license with a friend would something completely different and you would be cheating Jason out of money.

Also something in the insider preview is what is changing the video settings in Fusion in the clean install I just did the video works just like it is supposed to without any issues and it isn't forcing graphic compatibility.

Yeah there are issues with Alphabetizing in LaunchBox. Its like it doesn't see spaces between words so quest is fist then the t in ultimate goes next and then Warriors. Somewhere there is a logic issue. I don't think that the colons are the cause but I would have to look through my library again to see if I missed that when I first saw things out of order.
-
I think Brad was asking what game console are your games for that are giving you the issue.

SSF lets you swap discs but it entails leaving full screen opening your virtual disk tray mounting the new disk in Daemon Tools (or whatever equivalent you may be using) then closing your disk tray again. So while doable it isn't pretty.

I had to do a clean install in order to fix my computer and when I did it installed the Home version over top of my Pro version. I'm guessing maybe based on the BIOS from the computer which originally ran Home but I had since updated to Pro. I don't know but now I'm a little peeved because I got jacked for my Pro version and I already miss my remote desktop

I didn't check the Wikipedia check box so maybe that is the issue but it is working here on my side of things.
-
That would be great but isn't really likely to happen.

Honestly SSF is a pain in the ass but once you get it going it works very well on a lot of games (Also sometimes different versions run games that the newest version doesn't). I know it isn't great definitely isn't intuitive and it requires 3rd party disc software but it is actually a good working emulator. This of course doesn't even go over what a pain in the ass it is to use in LaunchBox with setting up all the additional apps (of course if you can get the .bat working it saves time but for me the .bat doesn't start as many games as the additional apps method does). Also with Saturn the additional app method doesn't work since you have to actually mount the .cue before you run it or at least it doesn't work with how I have everything setup.

I just downloaded 5.8 and then imported 16 DS games choose select none from the EmuMovies form I got 3 covers but in all fairness I don't remember the GDB giving good results when I imported all the games on my other machine either. But still getting the 3 covers proves that if the game has a match for the metadata you will get images in 5.8

I had no clue you could do that.

You can probably edit the game and under platform pick NES if it isn't already there and it may move them were you want them.

I feel you there since last nights update to build 14271 my bedroom PC is acting crazy when I try to restart the screen goes black and nothing happens when I shut it down and restart it I can't open Firefox and Chrome opens as a blank page I don't know what is going on but it has basically made that machine unusable but the kitchen PC is working great on the same build It is really baffling.

Brad are you in the insider program? I've had two tablets that didn't have any WiFi until the next build came out at one point (thank god I have USB Ethernet adapters laying around or updating them would have been impossible). I've also had issues with a few emulators where the controller config wasn't working with my XBox 360 controller anymore Kega happens to be one of those I believe SNES9x needed X-Padder also. I really hate to leave Kega Fusion behind it has always been a great emulator but it may be time to switch to something else.
-
Yeah but if they are making changes to one of the video settings that something like Kega that hasn't been updated since like 2010 it may be something that may not be a bug just a change that the application isn't equipped to handle.
-
Yeah this isn't my first issue with Windows 10 but it is my 1st emulator related one. It isn't bad enough to make me revert back though for the most part Windows 10 is great I was a fan of 8/8.1 myself but think that 10 is better also I am on the fast ring of the Insider Preview so when issues arise with beta software it is to be expected.

I've recently noticed that something in the latest Insider Preview has broken Kega Fusion. The emulator still works but for some reason it force Kega to run in compatibleGFX mode this can be seen in the .ini file but also when you hit video in the menu there will be much less settings and it will basically force you to display in 800x600 which will play havoc with LaunchBox upon exiting the emulator to stop this I have LaunchBox set up to minimize when games are launched and come back when the emulator is exited but I would prefer not to do so since it isn't very clean and LaunchBox closes showing my next open Window before starting the game. I don't know what in Windows is causing this and it is very frustrating. I've experience it on about 5 different computers now so I know it isn't just one of the computers that has an issue with it. On other news I've been in contact with the dev. of KAT5200 and asked if there was any chance that we may someday see an update to it. He replied and said he was thinking about and that it could be possible by the end of the year but truthfully he didn't at all make any type of promises. He went on to say that it doesn't handle higher resolutions well and that it has issues on multiple screen systems which he added weren't really something he planned for back when he developed it. He also stated that hearing from me and knowing that people were still interested in using it helps in motivating him. If anyone else who uses it may want to hit him up and let him know that there is still an interest in using his emulator here is a link to his contact page.

I don't know if you saw them but I posted my scan results and my rebuilder results it just doesn't make much sense to me I'm unclear about what they mean by a set when it says fixed unneeded sets 22,176/22176. What is a set? I know what a ROM is and a CHD.
-
Your instructions are very clear and concise I just can't get the rebuilder to do anything I tried a couple of times both using split and merged and I keep getting the same results it doesn't create any new files I think I'm going to just download the newest ROM set and then just wait for 6 months to a year and then just update everything at one time. Thanks for trying to help I just can't get it to work and really don't play enough Arcade games to waste anymore of my time on it. Thanks again for putting in the time and effort to write the tutorial hopefully it will help someone else out.

I just added 53 Atari 7800 games to one of my LB instances and the local DB performed great. I didn't get a match on 3 games so it may be a little more finicky in offering alternative options of names it didn't like or find anything for these games Mario Brothers (changed it to Mario Bros. and everything was good) Donkey Kong Jr. (Changed it to Donkey Kong Junior and was good) Mean 18 Golf (Changed it to Mean 18 and it returned Mean 18 Ultimate Golf as an option) So without changing the names of these games the localDB was saying no game found so it will still offer options if not named exactly as in the last example but not matching Mario Brother with Mario Bros. and Donkey Kong Jr. with Donkey Kong Junior leads me to believe it is now a little more picky then before but it is exponentially better than the options we had available over the weekend. This was done with the first new Beta not with the latest one.

I have elevated privileges if you are making a list.
