  1. Ok for some reason your bios are not being detected. Go to Settings > Directory > System/ BIOS and make sure its pointing to your \retroarch\system\ folder, it isn't repoint it to it.
  2. Because a lot of people simply don't want to use RocketLauncher.
  3. Oh sorry, I only half posted before hitting send, my fault for being distracted with another task. I meant to say there is more stuff on the poll that went up today so it will be coming.
  4. Pico uses slightly different bios https://docs.libretro.com/library/picodrive/#bios
  5. Did you put the bios in your \Retroarch\System\ folder ?
  6. There's more controller stuff like enabling which controllers are used or not used.
  7. Always get things working outside of Launchbox first.
  8. Their disk images are hit or miss, I have gotten lots of good dumps from there and I have gotten lots of bad ones as well.
  9. Your disk image could be bad then, Retroarch is picky over its bios and disk image dumps and there are a lot of bad disk dumps out there.
  10. It may be trying to load the first file in the archive which could be the bin file and RA doesn't work with loading the bin file.
  11. Try ticking the extract box first and see if that works, if not then you will want to extract your disk image and import the cue file.
  12. Are you telling Launchbox to extract it first ? Launchbox may be trying to load the first file in the archive which may be the .bin file of the disk image. I have my CD based games extracted and imported the.cue file into Launchbox.
  13. The No-Intro rom set has a whole bunch of bios packed with it, the US specific ones for the GenesisGX core is in the [BIOS] Sega CD 2 (USA) (v2.00W).zip file.
  14. Scroll down to the Bios section, I show how to do it with a couple of small free apps.
  15. Both the GenesisGX and Pico cores emulate the Sega CD. You can get the info on the bios names and MD5 checksums here: https://docs.libretro.com/library/genesis_plus_gx/#bios And yes the games are generally going to be that size or maybe even bigger, they are CD and as such have CD quality audio tracks and FMV scenes.
  16. LOL yeah there certainly are some bad ones being done but that's ok, there's still some good ones in the works coming.
  17. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/launchboxsurvey2018 Get your votes in now, just remember that the poll results will determine the order things get added so everything barring some unforeseen problems will make it in eventually before the next poll. Edit: Just to clarify, features with really low votes may not make it in before the next poll but they could get carried over into the next poll.
  18. Pressing the Up arrow no longer takes to the games starting with "up" so working as intended.
  19. You need the raster.ini file and enable hlsl in the mame.ini file. This stuff should work with MameUI as well as the command line version but I stopped using the UI version a long time ago now so I don't know for sure.
  20. I think I would advise deleting your current Retroarch install (because I am not sure what you might have changed at this point) and re-install fresh, you would be back to the ugly UI that you mentioned before but it should work out of the box for you.
  21. I'm thinking you are using some sort of on board video that doesn't have good OpenGL support. The Retroarch UI is only really used for setting things up initially, once that is done you won't ever really be seeing it outside of managing save states or swapping disks.
  22. Locations shouldn't be a problem, try extracting a rom and loading that if you are trying to load a zip file rom. I'm fairly certain RA will work fine with zipped rom files but I don't have mine zipped.
